Beautiful hotel, nicely apportioned and well maintained. Staff is very courteous and helpful. I will stay here again. My only complaint is that $42 per day for valet parking was a brutal surprise, but there weren't any better options nearby. That being said, the valet attendants were great.
Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, the rooms are nice and modern. Staff was all friendly.
Only complaint I had was there were no thick shades to cover the window. Most hotels have the one shade that is semi translucent and then another that is thick and completely block any light, my room didn’t have the thick one, and it’s not like there was a place for it and the actual blind was just missing, they aren’t meant to have them, so if you are planning to sleep in I would check with the hotel first to see if the have any rooms that do have them.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
The stay started with the two young ladies on midnight turn being so helpful and friendly that our late flights and later arrival didn't seem that bad after all. Great staff (especially night turn).

Our stay has been great.. I'm not terrible pleased with the fact that parking is about $35 per day. If you're here though, you have to try the cookies in the lobby! They put them out at 5 pm every day.
This place was very fun and convenient. It's a good location with really nice views. The room itself was great and we both had a restful nights sleep. The hotel bar was also pretty good and stayed open very late.
The only downside is the bathroom which is pretty small, didn't have a hand held shower head, and was fogging up instantly.
Other than that, great place!
Quick check in. Bathroom a little small. Good mattress. Clean room. Right on 6th Street. Stay here if you plan to go there. Complimentary water was provided on check in and Valet parking was included.
I was in need of a quick getaway trip so I booked at this hotel because of its proximity to 6th. I arrived at the check in desk and was told that I wouldn’t be getting a room because they had overbooked 🙄 instead of informing me of this before I fought through traffic to get there they waited until I arrived and wasted over an hour of my time to get me relocated. They moved to a room at their location near the airport which defeated the whole purpose of booking their in the first place (location), and resulted in me wasting more gas. I was informed that my room would be free. The next day I called to make sure the hold would be removed from my card and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, and then hung up on. They’re extremely unprofessional they continuously stopped assisting me to help other customers. Just book with the Sheraton across the street
Would have appreciated the heads up the room key card was needed to select the floor in the elevator, that was a ride until I saw others using the card I just had figure the button light wasn't working. But aside from that outstanding location, clean lobby, comfortable rooms. Would advise others to consider this hotel for their next Austin stay.
Clean, quiet rooms despite being close to highway. Short ready walk to downtown. Excellent breakfast, really nice and helpful staff. Public areas, especially elevators a bit tied and worn. Expensive valet parking, no self park hence only 4 stars. I would definitely stay here again.
The location is ideal if passing through as it is right off of I-35. Being a Hilton Honors member they greet and treat you well, hand you a bag with 2 complimentary water bottles and you are given access to a separate WIFI connection. The elevators have a security system where you can only access guest room floors if you swipe a valid and current room card, other wise the floor buttons will not work and you will not go anywhere. The rooms are bigger than expected and have all travelers needs like tons of outlets for charging electronics, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and desk. Surprisingly you don't always get all those things at other hotels but you get them all here. They even had a bottle opener which was amazing as I didn't realize I needed one until I saw it and was grateful I did not have to go buy one. The rooms are very modern, updated and have a comfy look and feel. They are super clean and show pride in it by providing a hand signed note from the person that cleaned it. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star rating is because they did not have free parking. You have to pay for valet or park elsewhere and away from hotel, not cool. Over all great experience and would most definitely recommend this hotel but would warn about the parking situation.
We stayed here July 4th weekend. The hotel itself is beautiful but there were no bed liners or shower curtains in our room. The pool had algae in it and the staff was discourteous. We ate breakfast, paid for it and by the time we made it to our room, they we're calling to say we didn't pay and the room would be charged. We had to give the receipt info to prove we paid. They also tried to charge us twice for valet parking. We paid too much for this hotel to have had this type if experience. I've stayed in the Allen Texas location and had a far better experience. Will not stay here again.
Giving credit where its due, they made arrangements for our group of 5 to have 2 connecting rooms. I really appreciate it.
But the reason I am writing this review is because of how offended I am at the room service. We paid 13 dollars for what we thought was a full meal of ravioli. What we got was a plate of 4, 1 inch wide ravioli with a few sundries tomato strung over. My immediate thought was that it was a side dish, or a joke.
The best I can describe this " meal" is pathetic. And it was 13 dollars.
Front desk service was sometimes a hassle, some employees were impatient and rude while others were very polite. The room pull out sofa was very noisy to get in and out of. The top floor buffet was expensive and very average.
Staying here for four nights while I attend a conference at the convention center. This was the most affordable of the main hotels surrounding the convention center. That being considered, it's a decent hotel. Room was pretty standard with a comfortable bed. I had dinner one night at the restaurant on the top floor and was very happy with the meal (I had the burger). The pool is okay but pretty small so only good for wading in. Definitely the place to stay if you're visiting the convention center and don't want to spend twice as much on one of the other hotels.
Super comfy bed and clean room! I did encounter an issue with an advance purchase not being registered in the system at checkout but front desk manager Rodney handled the situation extremely well. He was the epitome of customer service for an unfortunate incident. Had I chosen to not stop by checkout on my way out, I would've been charged twice. Greater attention or a better process should be implemented for advance purchase reservations. Thank you for seeing it all through, Rodney!
