Eh, if you like mediocre food. Sure come on down. They also don't like heating the place and it is not even winter yet. A cold draft was blowing by the table. Uncomfortable.

Beautiful decor, friendly and prompt service. Tableside guacamole, fresh chips. Food was tasty, fresh, authentic. Would definitely go back.

Nice decor. Great service. The food is just OK. The Guacamole looks great but had too much lime juice. The entrées were pretty bland. I expect more flavor for a Mexican restaurant. The drinks were pretty good though.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Seats ripped upon sitting in booth. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to walk over to the table. Received chips and salsa, the salsa was pasty no flavor. Then waited another 5 minutes for someone to bring us water. Had ordered 2 drinks, and we had to flag down a waitress bc we never received our drinks. When the finally came they were very sour and had to send back and get classic margaritas. I had to flag down a server to order food and she seemed lost. Had Ordered 2 chicken burritos and they were cold and very bland in flavor. Left without finishing food, worst $60 I've spent . I highly recommend going somewhere else.
PS - worst music around. The lady singing sounded like drunken karokee and should have been put out of her misery

To be honest I feel as if the service sucked we came in ordering two margaritas one mango one jalapeño the waiter brought them both over the jalapeño one was very mild as we verbally asked them to make it stronger and they did but came back with the drink jalapeños were gone we had also verbalized we had a child and to please rush our order the waiter said we were the first ticket of the evening so there wouldn't be a long wait by any means a couple came in 10 minutes after we did and order almost the same things we did there's came out first we wait about 20 minutes longer and nothing still we asked twice in the 20 minutes as to why our food still wasn't out so we ended up leaving the restaurant with out eating over an hr waiting to eat
    Unexceptable

This place is Great!! The chef is a wonderful asset to this restaurant. He makes everything fresh -NOT frozen- all from scratch. You can taste the freshness with every bite. Simply Delicious. Everything you should expect from a quality cook. This includes the fresh Guacamole made to perfection before us by our waiter. Outstanding. This restaurant has everything you should come to expect (great service, experience, freshness, quality food) when selecting Mexican food as your next meal.

Prices have gone up and portions have come down, but still a great choice for the genre.

Me and my family come to this restaurant, (La Puerta Azul) reasonably frequently. We love the Food, and if you come on Saturdays You'll have a chance to hear music. They are flexible to substitutions and replacements. Great atmosphere, But the Downside is the food is a little slow to come out, but is worth the wait!
