I stopped in one nite to grab a pizza to go and wound up having a few drinks at the bar with my wife while waiting. The bartender was such a cutie, she was so nice to us. The pizza was definitely pretty good. I know that we'll go back to sit down and have a real meal at some point so I'll be back to give a proper review..

Not the first time here. After many returnsnever had a bad meal. The last meal I ordered from the menu was their mussels and shrimp with thin spaghetti. BUT without the shrimp and with Angel hair. The didn't hair Angel hairoh welli get over it. I was expecting my meal to come with a marinara sauce, but low and beholda very light cream sauce with little bits of bacon, maybe onions mixed in. I'm glad and it came as a good surprise to help me out of my comfort zone. It was absolutely delicious. Never fail spot! Reasonably priced. Great service and friendly staff.

Savona's did an spectacular job for a family dinner. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was amazing! Good service! They make you feel right at home! Can't wait to go back!

The food is simply amazing. I have been a customer for many years at the Kingston location and we just ate at the new location in our hometown Red Hook, NY on 10/22/17. This is a distination for true lovers of real Italian cuisine. I grew up in the Bronx and was surrounded by some of the best Italian restaurants in the world and I must say, Savona's ranks right at the top with Arthur Avenue's favorites and other NYC famous restaurants. Red Hook now has a Little Italy option. Lots of luck to Steve, his family and his amazing chef & team.

Fabulous chicken Marsala. Everything we had was delicious. The owner is super nice. He and the bartender helped get us seltzer water to get a stain out of a tie. The service is excellent.

Glad we ate here after the boat cruise. We had salmon and shrimp entrees - both were delicious along with the salads. White sangria was perhaps best we ever had! Staff friendly and professional, sidewalk table enjoyable with the waterfront views.

I want to give 5 stars so badly, but because of a few minor things I cannot. While of waitress was so nice and friendly there were some delays getting drinks and condiments. When we arrived we couldn't order food cause the kitchen was backed up. I have never experienced that at a restaurant before. They were very up front and nice about at least. Food was outstanding, so please don't let the few down sides deter you, you'll be satisfied.

5 stars isn’t enough. This place is special. The owner, staff and food are incredible. We’ve eaten here multiple times and the food and service is always top notch. You will have a great experience and the location is excellent for the historic waterfront. Most recently we hosted 2 events for our wedding weekend at the event space next to the restaurant called “Next Door”. Stephen, the owner, and every one of the staff we worked with, were absolutely outstanding. We had no complaints, the team responded to requests professionally, with a big smile on their faces, and it was clear that the focus was on the guests’ enjoyment. We give Stephen and his entire team the highest level of recommendation we could possibly imagine.

I'm a little disturb when I my Vodka martini was so watered down -too waters down ! Bad bad bad ! Was it a mistake? Food is always great next time I will stick with wine!!! I know a great martini !!!

Above average Italian fare at a family style restaurant. Can cater to large parties, but the available space for said parties is very cramped. They do their best, and the customer service provided cannot be questioned.
