    The bad
This place is always out of something. Once or twice is ok but its every time you walk through the door. Service is inconsistent at best. Some of the bar tenders and servers are really ok and others think it's social hour taking away with regulars or other employees while customers are in need of drinks, food or the check. I have been there when the bar tender has walk outside to smoke leaving people with empty glasses on more than one occasion. Customers don't want to see you smoking then handling our food and drinks. Do it where we can't see you and have somebody watch the bar while your gone. (Show a little respect for the industry) They also use the cheapest ingredients and try to imply it's the best of the best. None of it is local or fresh but there prices tell a different story. The owner/mangers need to pull it together or this place will be out of business or forced to sell.

    The good
Good selection of beers That's it.

Yet I still find myself meeting a friend or two for drinks here every now and then. Everytime hoping they got their $hi+ together and everytime I leave disappointed. This place has so much potential if the owner just tried. In closing if your able to look past all the bad and still have a good time while spending a lot of your hard earned money then this is the place for you. Enjoy this FAKE hipsters paradise. The owner probably voted for Trump.

Burger bun was stale, portions too small for the style of restaurant. Burger was cooked correctly but overpriced for the quality offered.

Food was good and reasonably priced. The cider and the house infused vodka drinks rocked. Cool atmosphere.

Fun atmosphere. Great choices of beer on tap and daily specials (like taco Tuesdays). Nice place to meet friends and have a beer and hamburger.

Stopped by for a few beers and some burgers. High points for atmosphere - The Wherehouse has fantastic decor in a unique space, with friendly and accomodating service. The menu design is playful and awesome. Decent selection of beer with many local options. Burgers were cooked nicely and the flavors were on point for their descriptions.
Biggest issue with this place is that it needs a serious cleaning - food safety is important, and I hope that they keep the kitchen cleaner than they keep the rest of the restaurant.

Just got back from an early dinner at 5:30 pm. Horrible food. Paid $19 for the chicken fried steak dinner. It consisted of instant mashed potatoes, jar chicken gravy and the steak's breading was burnt. My kids could have put together a better meal. The only saving grace was the beer which was good. Save your money and eat somewhere else before you go here for drinks or better yet, just go somewhere else entirely.

Inconsistent service, is the only gripe. Awesome diverse menu, great beer selection, super friendly and laid back. Burgers are awesome but so are the salads, chili, Mac and cheese, and sides.

Good burgers, good beer on tap. Little pricey but not too bad for the quality. Went on a Sun afternoon, place was half full, and had a nice quiet friendly atmosphere.

This is my go to place in the city of Newburgh. The food is delicious and consistent every time. The live music and different beers make this place amazing. This is a funky cool bar that everyone should experience at least once.
