Nice dining experience. Limited menu, but delicious. Staff is very nice, lots of drink and beer options, and the food has great presentation. On the expensive side, but worth it for the occasional night out.

Stissing House has a fantastic chef - this is easily the best menu available for miles around the area in Northern Dutchess county, with fantastic service and great cocktails, all within an incredible old tavern and inn that has been here for more than a century. Plates feature locally sourced food from the nearby farms.

The atmosphere is of a colonial tavern, but the food is very modern and innovative. A tad on the expensive side, but worth it. Michel, the chef/owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Great food. Loved the fire place / pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant. Really good olive oil too that they just leave on your table. Yeah.

Quintessential Hudson Valley experience with French twist. The Banh mi Pork burger and fired mushrooms are inspired. Great food, comfortable and professional service Great wood burning oven takes you back in time.

Atmosphere and service were wonderful, and most of the dishes were great. However, be aware that although the duck was cooked in a delicious sauce and was tender and crusty, the vegetables that were served with it were NOT worth the price. They consisted of a kind of succotash mixture, much like you would find in any can. It would have been much better if they had served roasted potatoes and a mixture of fresh vegetables or other root vegetables. (I was told that there would be root vegetables and fingerling potatoes, which was not quite accurate).
