In general, this place is amazing. The variety of steam saunas, the oxygen and ionized rooms, pools and everything about functionality of the sauna is perfect. The reason of my 4 star rating is:
1. Women's uniform renewal is 1$extra for each additional uniform. It was free before and men still can get as many new uniforms as the need.
2. Food is on poor level. Hard to find anything healthy non-artificial food, except their fruits and water.😊 It is nothing like Asian food. They don't care of the food quality because there's no competitor around(you can't leave sauna's territory once you enter) so you get no choice what to eat, and you end up eating what they have.

Update: there is a food court in Hmart store that is located on the same plaza- check out their food before entering spa, you might get better food for cheaper price

King Spa & Sauna is a very clean spa. We enjoyed our experience here. They provide clean towel and uniform. The downside of this place is they charge extra for additional towel. But, this applies only for women section. They don't charge men additional fee for extra towel. I don't think it's reasonable. Also, food option is very limited. A small smoothie is $8.99 It's a bit too much in my opinion.

This was my first time going to anything like a bath house. I had only heard about this place and had no idea what I was doing, but the idea intrigued me so I decided to stop while I was on my way from Michigan to Wisconsin. I went in with a book, my purse, and a hairbrush and makeup. At first I was at a loss at what to do. There were a couple of women who worked there that were willing to answer questions though, which made my life easier. I'm not someone who is comfortable being naked in front of others but I quickly realized that no one is there to judge, we all just wanted to relax. I slipped off my clothes and took a quick shower and spent some time in the women's baths. I was impressed with what they offered there and spent at least 45 minutes there alone. I then got dressed in the uniform and walked into the co-ed area. I wish that I had done it sooner because even with 3 hours to waste, I felt like I only just got to visit each room. I didn't use my book at all like I had expected. Food was easy to get and they charged it to you using an electronic wristband. I wish that I had given myself more time but I'm so happy that I had stopped. I really look forward to going again soon.

Awesome place. For $35 you get to be here all day sitting in the pool or the hot tubs, saunas of salt room, ice room, amethyst room, meditation room. They have a sitting area, wifi and a nice restaurant. You can add services like massages and scrubs for different prices. I def will be coming back.

I often come here for fun. But a few month ago, something has been changed in female shower room. Before we can change uniform whenever we need. But now it changed to be paid for extra uniform. Today I was surprised to take only three towel(1 big towel and 2 small ones) if you want to use more than one, you have to pay 1 dollar! But!!!! Anything is free to use more than one uniform or towel in male lounge!!!!!!! I just confuse why females are special! It is unfair!!!!!! Just one small towel is not enough! We have to use one in rest area and one in shower room at least. Too many towels in my locker room so my clothes are wet and drop out many times!! That is too bad! I mean if you do want to change the policy, can you please be fair to male and female! And still, I feel so nasty to see the staff wear their shoes going outside and come back! We do not have shoes and we will go to the pool! How it can be like this!

Korean style spa with a wide variety of pools and relaxation rooms filled with salt or charcoal, or even a movie theater. Also has a Korean dining area. Put this one on your bucket list.

I have mixed feelings about the experience. The beginning of my experience was horrible. I entered and no one explained it to me anything so I was lost. Visiting from Miami we don't have these type of establishments there so I really wasn't aware of what to expect and could have used more guidance. After I figured things out, and showered enjoy the sauna and the bath. Then I was able to roam into all the rooms and experience was great. They even have a movie room. You can definitely spend the whole day and the whole night here. Definitely a different experience and I would love to try it again if I had the opportunity. My only negative comment is the customer service could be improved. They actually get annoyed when you ask them questions.

Relaxing bathhouse with a twist. The saunas are very clean and tranquil. The staff is extremely professional. I will admit that a couple of the rooms did not feel more than just aesthetically pleasing bit the amethyst room is something else. I felt relaxed there but felt energy as well. Go there with an open mind and do not be ashamed of nudity. I also recommend a body scrub! Well worth the money and your vody will thank you. Food and other services such as massage are available. Very easy to spebd a day there!

A piece of heaven on earth! This spa is so peaceful, it's easy to lose four or more hours just relaxing at this spa. Very clean facilities. The cafe has such delicious food.

I love love LOVE this place! It's super clean, the staff is friendly, and the spas are really nice! There is a lot to choose from, both with the amount of spa and massage services they offer, as well as the amount of saunas. The food is amazing too! I love staying here with my friends when we come to Chicago!

My Girls and I missed our hotel check in cause we drove to Chicago and couldn't check into our hotel until 12 pm and so what to do at 5am homeless? Lucky we Google map this spot and it was worth every penny. All of the rooms was beautiful, the staffs were really nice and friendly with welcome smiles. They gave us all of the guess blankets to fall asleep in, and woke up with awesome staff asking us if we needed any help with care. The food was amazing, I wouldn't mind coming here again and bring my family.

I couldn't believe such a beautiful spot hired so horrible management!! unbelievable! Around 9am in the morning I ordered for breakfast apple-carrot juice for high price as $7.99 and it didn't appear as fresh juice you want to drink and pay so much, I got a feeling that they didn't use fresh ingredients to make it and taste was bad, I asked the lady-bartender for refund and she told me she is not gonna be responsible for that and the manager should come in an hour! I was kind of in rush in the morning but decided to stay and see what happens. The manager who came in an hour was extremely rude and asked why I ordered a juice if I don't wanna drink it. After discussions about quality of juice he said he is gonna call to police if I don't pay for it, so I stayed there and was waiting for police to come to resolve the matter. The officer was shocked and almost laughing that instead of working on crime around Chicago area he had to come and talk to me and the manager of this place about the juice. He explained me I have to pay for it because I ordered it and was surprised about how this company is doing a business giving me advice don't come here anymore.
I don't think the owner of this place is gonna be thankful to manager for all this drama he made over juice with police coming to the building and losing me and my friends as customers, thats ridiculous! If you go to this place make sure you are in a good relationships with your bank. These thieves just appeared to be so amateurs in a business and communication with a customers.

A friend from the South side (Lee O Henry II) who for some reason loves massages so much recommended this place as the best. I would say it is decent but NOT the best. I did love the Korean wet skin scrub when makes your skin soft. I did not do the King Spa scrub since it was $100 for an hour. I also did the chair foot massage but it was OK. A bit painful but most of these kind of massages are> If you ask me the best massage or kind of massage to get is a Thai Massage but there are no Thai Massages here in the USA.

I love it here. The baths are great and the saunas are even better. It can get really crowded on the weekends, but if you can be flexible with which sauna you want to use it'll still work out and there's tons of space to just relax and read. I find the cafe a little overpriced, but the portions are huge and tasty. Whenever I need to rejuvenate, this is where I go. Don't forget to check for coupons for admission! There's almost always one somewhere.
