Excellent location for big events. Attended the Dallas Fan Expo and had a great time. Felt safe with the amount of security and safety features in place. Plenty of amenities in place to keep you comfortable.

I've been here a few times and it's never been a bad experience. I've gone for a trucking show, an auto show, a conference and even for the 2011 NFL Super Bowl experience and it's great.

I've only had to park once and there was plenty of room. All the other times though, I've taken the DART and that's what I recommend to avoid the hassle of trying to find parking or even dealing with downtown traffic.

The only thing about catching the DART is safety. Be very aware of your surroundings and who is next to you because the stop is in a dark area and you have a long walk between the station and the entrance to the Convention Center. Just be safe and don't let your guard down.

The restrooms in the various wings I've been in have all been good and clean.

This place is enormous!! It's beautiful as well! If you are there for a convention like I was it can be very confusing because they put up dividers but the place itself isn't too blame for that. If you pay attention you can find your way quite easily.

There really isnt too much to review about a convention center. It is quite large, its laid out in a pretty logical manner. Each building is labeled by a letter, but they are still all connected. The DART station makes it easy to get here, and I recommend parking at Mockingbird station and then coming to this DART station.

The only small gripe is that the restrooms could be cleaner, but it is expected that the bathrooms in a heavy foot traffic area might now always be the nicest.

Not a well designed major conference center in term of accessability and convenience. The Dallas auto show was held over there last week. It is a major event with a lot of attendees.
First, location - it is in the middle of downtown with tight streets. Some of them are one ways. So if you are not familiar with city driving or Dallas downtown in general, it can be hard to get to it, especially during heavy traffic times. Because of downtown, the city block is smaller and junctions with traffic lights cause cars to back up for blocks. Then you have people coming from different directions trying to get into your queue, blocking non-conference traffic and anger from people already in the queue. It is not their fault. It is due to the confusing and poorly planned entry system into the place.
Speaking of traffic, it is near intersection and interchange of major highways - I35E, I45/75 and I30. So if you are taking any of these to get to the center, prepare to get stuck before you can exit.
Now about the management, some of the attractions of the auto show are held in the Market Hall which is a different location altogether. Some people stupidly thinks it is in the same building. It happened often enough that the management had to put signs to let people know. However, the signs are located after you are in the no exit lanes into the pay booth. By the time you see the sign, it is too late. And $17 per car? Damn, expensive.
They also need to change the pay system. Right now you have to pay as you enter. This is one of the reasons why the queues spilled over into the streets blocks away outside the center. A better system is to take a ticket as you enter. Then pay at kiosks located in the building when you want to leave. The machine validates you ticket that you later use to exit the parking lot.
What else? Oh yeah, the elevators are too small, at least the ones I took. And there are only two at the entrance I was at.

Fabulous A/C system, pipes out plenty of cold air to keep anyone cool on a nice cool day. Bring your jacket! Other than that, excellent facility. Would be nice if they advertised onsite parking garage. We hoofed it from a nearby lot which was un-needed but easily doable. I will go to another event there.

Let's just say this is one huge event center. My only complaint was the workers seemed "so happy" to be there. It was clean and well suited for the event I attended. Just wish the logistics of the seminars were better planned out. I walked 12 miles in 2.5 days because of it.

I thought the convention center was okay, clean and had convenient parking underneath it. But it was a bit challenged in the area of amenities. There was 1 coffee place (Starbucks) in the convention center for a major trade show. Line had to be at least 100 people every morning. Could not get coffee any morning there because I would not have the half hour to stand in line for coffee. Then we tried to grab business lunches at the event with customers but given there are so few places nearby, every wait time was 30 minutes plus. The actual show hall was very nice and comfortable temperature which is a big deal. Was also easy to get in and out of the convention center for our crews.

Had better food at the original location. Was over cooked for my liking. It's good just not great. Would recommend driving a few miles to Lockhart Smokehouse if you want great BBQ

This is an amazing convention center! The staff is always helpful and kind. I attended a yearly seminar here and I am always impressed with the location. It is clean and well maintained. The seminar draws thousands of people. Four different groups, of well over 5,000 people, spanning 2 weeks. The staff is always working to make our time there enjoyable. The bathrooms are cleaned continuously, as well as all other areas of the convention center, a must have with similar many people. I am always impressed by this location.

Attended a fan fair comic con at the covention center. Not enough restrooms, being located at opposite ends of the facility. Not all escalators were operating, making movement difficult. Meeting rooms varied in size and were well maintained. Not the right venue for the size of the event, which was a downfall for the event.

I went to Bishop T. D. Jakes Megafest here. Easy access from the Dart Train stops right within walking distance to the main entrance. It is handicap accessible. The cold air greets you when you walk in the door! Bathrooms were clean inspire of thousands of people attending the event. Good floor plan for going to multiple events.

A little unclear in direction for someone who was there or the first time. Luckily there were other people there and we followed, otherwise, we would have been totally lost.

The location is hard to get to with all the Co struction via Google Maps right now. However, the place inside is great for expos. We attended the Europa Expo and it was awesome to see!

Was here for Dallas Fan Expo. Beautiful building and perfect for the event. Large, but not confusing. Parking doesn't seem so bad, but I usually get a ride so I don't have to deal with it.

My first time there for a group presentation. I was really impressed with the size and set up. No A/V issues, very spacious, excellent staff. Really great place to put on an event.
