Clean room friendly staff. Was an impromptu trip to see snow. Had a nice field to play in, heated pool and simple breakfast. Very nice Hotel.

I recently booked a room at Jameson inn for November 4. I then found another room closer to town, cheaper, and I was concerned about other reviews I had read about cleanliness of Jameson Inn so I cancelled my reservation. I was well within the free cancellation period advertised. We returned home on Sunday night and my husband checked our account to find that the charge was still pending. I spoke with manager who acknowledged that I had indeed cancelled in time and should not be charged. He said he would put it in with next charges. 4 days later we are still waiting for our money to be credited back to our account. We spoke with corporate who has not gotten this resolved either. I would run from this property as the manager can wrongfully take your money and take his sweet time returning it. I will not be conned into" No charge till you check in and free cancellation policy "again.

Arrived at this hotel around 750 pm after checking in and going to our room we checked the beds as we do at every hotel we stay at. The bed covers were dirty and stained as was the comforters. All 4 pillows were dirty one was still wet with chewing tobacco spit. Mold was in the shower and I have time stamped photos of it all. I emphasize the time stamped photos because the prick at the front desk told me that the room was cleaned and when I showed him the chewing tobacco pillow he tells me they don't chew tobacco and no one has been in the room since that morning, I guess suggesting we did it. As I said before we checked in around 750 pm and took the pictures at 759 pm. This will be the last stay for me and my family and I will spread the word to everyone I know. Great customer service Jameson Inn.

We walked into the hotel earlier today & asked if we could go ahead and pay for the room so we could go hit up downtown Helen. The man was very rude and asked us our ages, when we replied he said “okay because you have to be 21 to stay here.” Umm.. okay? Obviously that should be on their website. We are over 21 but we decided to stay at a much better place for 50$ cheaper & we got a suite with a balcony. Do not stay at The Jameson Inn, it’s too much money for trash.

Check out the Baymont next time you’re in Helen it’s beautiful!

Nice clean room. Loved the king size bed!! The pool was nice though the spa didn't look as clean as I thought it should. The manager was great!! Very nice and helpful though he was short staffed and extremely busy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

    Front desk guy very nice.

The hotel would not pass building codes in most areas of the United States! The room smelled awful and was definitely a smoking room at one point. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY ON IT!!! The parking lot and sidewalks were covered in cigarette butts. Moldy and musty room. We lucked out and got a room I. Town much nicer for only 70$ total more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Not only were we told we could bring our dog, we were then threatened with a fine if we put him in the room. We then asked to get a refund and they refused. The rooms were old and in bad shape. The bathroom was dirty and our room was an old double converted into a single. It isn't worth the $90. Go stay in the numerous other hotels in town or find a place in Cleveland, which is the town over.

Layout is from the 1980's, but the rooms are clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Good minimalist hotel. Free continental breakfast, plus waffles.

The location was good and the guy at the front desk was awesome, but the hotel itself was horrible! There was a huge crack in the door that let gnats and other bugs in that bit us all night. We could hardly sleep for itching. The room just felt dirty. We were out as soon as the sun came up! One positive other than the front desk was the indoor pool and hot tub. They were nice and well maintained.

The rooms are out dated and very small. No fridge, microwave, or hairdryer. Reserved a handicap room and when we arrived we were told all the handicap rooms were already full. The showers looked gross! The breakfast was limited and really good. The pool is the best part of the hotel.

Dude at the front counter was really nice. Got the room and it was larger than a usual room and had a giant bed complete with the girly pillows. My girlfriend loved it for her birthday. Had a blast in the pool and hot tub. Will definitely return.
