Their Holiday event is very nice. This year they offered some type of 'deal' with thier Brunch. I'm not sure what happened but I was still charged for both the brunch and the holiday event. I think there was some communication issues this year. The building is beautiful and decorated nicely.
We had some smokers next door with some kind of wild party until 3am. that Kept us up all night. A staff member heard us talking about it in the elevator and offered up a free night "next time" down. Went down for a dinner and the free night and they didn't get us into our room until almost 6pm left us sitting around until it was ready. Missed our dinner reservations on a special occasion. Dirty floors in the room, ac was blowing warm air and people at the counters and lobby that just didn't seem to give 2 cents about service. the benefits of the ambassador club was never seen or received. Mistakes happen, but We pay for 5 star hotels and expect at least an effort from staff to make sure things go right. This place is poorly managed and we will not stay here again. The Ritz is 100 times nicer and better ran.
I had a corner room on a higher floor. I loved the view! The bathroom was pretty awesome it had a great soaking tub and seperate shower. The hotel is a bit out dated. I expected exceptional service for the high star rating at this hotel. I was sadly disappointed. I have honestly had better service at a 2 star hotel.
Customer service is outstanding! Club room is an excellent upgrade. Heated pool when it's cold out is exhilarating and fun. Room was clean but only negative is that it could be updated with new furnishings.
Everything was perfect except the last day checking out. The valet at the desk was extremely rude. The buffet was amazing and the room was great as always. Would have been a 5 star review if not for the valet. That said after almost 50 stays in this hotel I have never had a bad valet experience.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, well-maintained rooms and facilities, plenty of open seating areas and places to sit and talk. The food and drink service for events is quite good.
Food options are very limited during the day. There are local places to eat, but if you're pressed (or just arrived) you'll be underwhelmed by the options.
Easy access to MARTA, which is good as other than office buildings there's not much around the hotel.
Quite reasonably priced for what you get.
The room cleanliness was wonderful. The seperate tub and shower was appreciated. The pool was very refreshing. The restaurant was yummy. The front office made a couple errors during check-in, but nothing big.
Southern Art is on the cusp of truly great food. The service was great for a big group and the ambiance is quite nice. The restaurant had access to some nice ingredients, but it feel like there's just too many in each dish. Still, a nice evening with some four star food
Stayed here twice for a night each time so I can't speak as to how staying here for multiple nights would be. Great location in the heart of Buckhead. There are multiple malls, bars and restaurants in the immediate area and within walking distance. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. No issues. Minus one star because the parking fee is outrageous and they offer no other options beyond valet for $38 a night or self park for $28 a night.
My recent stay at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta was beyond amazing. Each and EVERY member of the staff there always ensure that my visits are impeccable. No hotel has rivaled my experience there and I can see myself visiting for years to come with family and friends. It's the jewel of Atlanta. The rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and their level of excellence shines throughout the entire facility from check in to check out. The lovely Mira and Joan always greeted us with a smile and made us feel like we were at home. They constantly checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Seeing Mr. Khalid is like meeting an old friend after being away for a long time. He always greets me with a warm smile and has great suggestions during my trip and reminds me to enjoy the amazing views from my room. When visiting the InterContinental Buckhead, the Club Level is a must. We were able to enjoy SUPERB CUISINE every day seemingly all day and the atmosphere in the Club Lounge was so elegant, warm, inviting and relaxing. To top it all off, we met Mr. Art Smith of Southern Art! He's the absolute BEST! It really set my expectations so high, that I'm not sure another hotel can even compete. The InterContinental Buckhead will be my home away from home whenever I visit Atlanta.
The hotel was very upscale. The room was very large and the bathroom had an oversized tub and a separate shower. The staff was incredible. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Buckhead.
Friendly staff, great rooms and accommodations. Would stay again and would recommend to others. One of the nicer hotels I have stayed at.
What can I say, everything was wonderful. From the staff at check in who worked tirelessly to make sure we had the perfect room to the host of the Executive Club who made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend it!
We were on 21st floor-club level. The room was really nice and very comfortable. Club room was well attended. Very good hours. Lots of good food. Breakfast was fantastic and the oatmeal raisin cookies were phenomenal. Bourbon Bar was cool. Very open and easy place to socialize. Bellmen were very attentive.
We were there for a wedding and it worked very well.
This hotel was very nice. I didn't have any problems while staying here and the staff was very pleasant and always willing to help. The only reason for the four stars is there was no refrigerator in the room. As a visitor to Atlanta we visited a lot of nice restaurants but had nowhere to place our leftovers.
