(We ate back in January 2017) I would like to say before you read any of this review that my father has travelled to India many times and he and I have eaten at REAL Indian restaurants and I know this isn't the same but I would expect some sort of authenticity.
HORRIBLE! I grew up in England and we have an Indian restaurant every block over there and they are real Indian restaurants , not this place! Let me tell you that HALF of the dishes that we wanted were not available and the ones that were ready to eat didn't even contain the correct ingredients to make an Indian dish! (Like Onions and even some basic spices!) The food tasted like it came straight out of a can and put onto my plate.
SERVICE: Service was appalling, the server completely forgot our order and when we asked where our food was he said he forgot and asked us again what we would like!
ENVIRONMENT: The inside of this place feels like its stuck in the 1980's, nothing is updated and since we were in there they had a soda machine within view of our table! Its extremely outdated and needs an update!
If you are reading this review and comparing it to all the 'other' great reviews on this place then fair enough but I will tell you and I am telling you the truth, save your money and find a place that is much better and that is worth spending your hard earned money on.
I HIGHLY recommend that you find a place that is actually worthy of the Delicious food that is Indian food and NOT THIS PLACE!
Very bad experience. We regretted for walking into the restaurant. From the first go we weee treated badly. Once we were seated we were served water. We asked the waiter if we could change the tables. Very shocked to hear a reply from the waiter. He said yes you can but you have to take your stuff with you. He told us to carry the water and the glasses along with us. We decided not to move and we sat dawn patiently for the waiter to take order. We asked him what’s the restaurant special and he answered very rude. He said everything is special and again we asked him what’s chef special. He told us 10 different items. We placed the order. We were sitting very near to their kitchen and could smell their cooking. We heard them talking on us. Very bad. Overall will never step into their restaurant again.
Wonderful food, great service, suggest reservations small
I have ordered Tandoori chicken, it was the worse chicken I have ordered in my life. They don't know the meaning of Tandoori.
Enjoyed the food and the service very nice very spicy but definitely International cuisine. I will go back again.
1st timer last night. Good family friend treated my wife & I. Highly recommend this spot. Excellent food, attentive service, expansive menu. All our food was fresh, hot, & served with a smile
Great Indian food at a very reasonable price. The servers are friendly and efficient.
Excellent service, great food and very clean. Been coming here for years and never disappointed.
Food was delicious! Nice spice. Complete dinner servings very generous. Service was alright, but management was very friendly, attentive and accommodating! Would definitely return on another visit to Palm Springs.
I came here with big hopes and all went in vein. Place was small, service was damn super slow, server forgot items which I ordered, and wordy thing is the food itself. I never recommend this restaurant to anyone so go there at your own risk.
Great!
I've used this restaurant to explore many Indian dishes that I would have normally never chosen. All have been fantastic.
Their Kadashi Chicken/Lamb is fantastic. Must-have for anyone who likes the dish.
Nothing I've had here has left me disappointed. Go there, spend money, eat great food!
