Close to everything and far enough away from everything. My wife and I stayed here for a week. Food was exceptional, room was small but clean and well presented. Front desk was great, took care of a couple requests with no fuss. Nightly music next to the bar was outstanding! Roof top pool was very cool. Just know that if you are in the back building it's a bit of a walk to the lobby. (There is an inside bridge that connects the buildings)

I’m very pleased with the service provided. The staff is friendly and the food was exquisite and served in a timely manner. The Betsy team always makes me feel like a princess. This place is wonderful thank you guys!

Great staff but questionable condition of the hotel rooms. Bathroom sink would barely drain, toilet wouldn't stop running on it's own and we had these tiny black bugs on the bathroom floor. Get the maintenance team up to speed and it's a 4 or 5 out of 5.

Awesome property. Really can't get much better if you want to relax in Miami Beach. Away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to walk to it if you want to. Great food and lovely roof top deck. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely go back. Great for a getaway with your significant other. Live music in the lobby every night is a really nice touch.
I would highly recommend it. Make sure that you let the guys at the beach know you are at the Betsy so they give you the slightly nicer chairs with the better towels.response / report this review -

Hotel is beautiful and well appointed. Lots of personality and charm. Details are thought out. Lighting in room is excellent. Rooms are small but optimized for the space. Great unexpected surprises everywhere- library, seating areas, elevator with library motif, actual libraries in rooms, books for perusing everywhere, art everywhere, orange and lemon water available at downstairs pool, bar at rooftop pool. Rooftop pool is a wonderful late afternoon/ evening spot. Beach situation with chairs and towels needs improvement- supposed to be available until 6pm but they try to close up at 5. No towels available- had to persistently ask. Also- full chair towels at pool and beach never available for us. You pay a resort fee for these amenities so it's frustrating when they're not available. Also paid for a king bed, got a queen. Friendly staff, location right across street from beach is great

A really great hotel! Upon arrival we received an upgrade (a little noisy from the street traffic but otherwise fine) and the staff is so friendly and kind. Omar was super helpful in getting us reservations to go see the Everglades and suggested some delicious local restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel has amazing food too! Not to mention is right across the street from the beach!

Amazing hotel in a great location! Staff is super friendly. Entry level room was a bit small but. Very comfortable. Also dog friendly! They had a super cute dog bowl setup for each of our pups. Amazing hotel in South Beach!

The restaurant is very good. They have a rooftop bar/lounge. The feel of the hotel is upscale. The downstairs loinge is cool. It is on the nicer part of Ocean Drive away from the tourist riff-raff. My wife and I would recommend to friends and family.

The Betsy Hotel in Miami Beach is one of the most historic boutique hotels on the strip and the only four star hotel in Miami. This is a one-of-a-kind, luxury 61-room boutique hotel and the lone surviving example of “Florida Georgian” architecture (designed by L. Murray Dixon) in South Florida. I have given the Betsy five stars because of their outstanding customer service, overall cleanliness and their location. It is right across the street from the ocean! There is even a public park across the street where on can spend the day outside. The Betsy Hotel, from the valet outside, to the bellman(Evans & Fritz, these guys are a charm) down to the lovely front desk attendants; everyone one here is really attentive while making you feel relaxed. Our room was just freshly renovated so everything was in it was beautiful designed and impeccably clean. Although the room is small, it did have a balcony looking over the courtyard. While we went for one of their regular rooms, I do know that they have incredible suits with views sweeping across the Atlantic Ocean. You will want to have breakfast downstairs in the main lobby because their fresh roasted coffee, fresh picked fruits and continental breakfast will your day started right. Do come back for lunch or dinner, because they have an array of wonderfully cooked meals, ready at any time throughout your day. I also got to attend their jazz night that put us in the right mood to end our night. Its free for guest and the public. Sit by the lounge in the front lobby and enjoy a cocktail while listening to some young talented locals. This hotel is where you want to stay if you like music, art and culture because they celebrate it all throughout the hotel. They have a bookshelf in just about every corner. There is always a good book to read. The pool was spectacular with city views all around and the ocean right across. You won't be let down by this place. I can keep writing but I shall end it here! The room was small, but no big deal. The food was incredible. We did not plan to eat all our meals at the Betsy, but the food and service were so good we ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The hotel was quiet and relaxing, unlike all the hotels and restaurants down Ocean Drive, that were hustling customers. They automatically added a 20% gratuity, so be aware. I recommend the Margaritas in the restaurant over those in the bar and sun deck. My girlfriend/wife wants to come back which says a lot!

“Best Hotel on Ocean Drive!”
Our stay was beyond amazing. We had a Classic Double, perfect for us girls. Very clean and very well appointed. The rooftop pool had just opened and we were able to enjoy it very much. I must say what impressed me the most was the service. Every single person at The Betsy goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We ate at the LT Steakhouse and it was superb. I definitely hope to return to The Betsy in the future, i wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
