Girls night out was ruined because of this place. It took forever to receive a drink and when asking the host she responded with "Can you please sit down we will bring your drink to you". I spoke with the manager and believe his name was David, he was too busy flirting with two girls at the bar. After explaining to him the conduct of his staff, he just blankly stared at me. I walked out and never ordered food. We ended up going to Chili's across the street instead.
This place is horrible. I went their with my daughter and when we sat at the table their was left over food in front of me. They wiped down the table after 15 minutes of waiting. When we looked at our plates their were bits of food stuck to it. The manager was terrible and never apologized. After spending 100$ on my daughters birthday for a terrible experience, I will never go back.
DO NOT GO HERE - PLEASE READ, USED TO BE GOOD WHEN IT FIRST OPENED AND NOW IT'S HORRIBLE
I was there last night to give it another chance and never again will I be returning. My boyfriend got a dirty glass and when asking to have a new glass, they advised they had to rewash the dirty one as they did not have any more glasses. When receiving the glass back, it had napkin lint all over it and still some sort of old juice substance on it. I let it go and ended up pouring out the water in his water glass to use for his beer instead.
I had to get up twice to order a drink because the waitress never came around to our table. This was not her fault as there were only two waitresses staffed for the hibachi on a Thursday night These poor waitresses are hassled all night because they do not want to adequately staff for their volume (that would cost more money).
The reason I had gone back to this place was because I had a gift card from my last experience which was also poor. I never received my meal as one of their sushi chef's had walked out. On another occasion this happened to a friend of mine. Despite this, I gave it another chance and I regret it.
After bringing this to the Manager's attention (DAVID), he said nothing. He just stood there looking dumbfounded and actually rolled his eyes at one point. My boyfriend then went to speak to him and he advised "I am not trying to ignore your girlfriend, there is just nothing we can do and we are busy tonight". He also advised "We have more glasses I don't know why they wouldn't give you a new one, but you're leaving now".
I called today attempting to contact BRIAN the owner, and the owner advised his staff not to give out his info as he does not want to hear about complaints. ALEXIS the receptionist on duty right now, had absolutely no care for the fact I was attempting to have this issue resolved. She sounded completely jaded and like she didn’t care about anything. When explaining the situation, her response was “ok”.
DAVID should not be a manager and that place really needs to improve its operations. ALEXIS had one job, which was handle a phone call with professionalism and courtesy but failed to do so. I will not be returning and will be making it a point to give one star on every review site. I will also be contacting the BOARD OF HEALTH to report the dirty glasses being dealt out to customers.
DO NOT GO HERE, It used to be good and now it's horrible.
Top notch! Great service! Great food! Highly recommend it. Will come back again soon.
Great food. Service on point, only thing she missed was the avocado on top . not inside of the roll. I asked for it on top. Most placed get this wrong so it's somewhat understandable.
Beautifully designed , great food great service. Love the sushi! There's a hibachi side and dine in side also a big bar to eat at. There will most likely be a wait if you go at prime time. Reservations recommended for Friday and Saturday nights
Well prepared sushi amidst a vibrant atmosphere Hibachi tables and regular dining Bar scene is decent Service is very slow Plenty of parking Reservations strongly recommended
Went here on a busy Saturday evening with kids. The food was delicious, but slow to come out (but understandably so for sushi), and the service was quite slow, especially considering we were a family of 5. Not sure I'd bring kids here on a Saturday night again, but I would definitely recommend the quality of the sushi. The spicy tuna roll was very spicy (to my tastebuds, anyway) but extremely delicious. The sushi dinner was good, although the portion size of the sashimi was on the small side based on my experiences in other sushi restaurants. The chicken skewer appetizer was delicious as well, and they accommodated our request to have the sauce on the side rather than on the skewer. Good food, slow food delivery and slow service, but overall a good place. Great decor. I'd like to go back and try the hibachi to see how it measures up.
My all time favorite. The efforts to create what Ichigo has become lose nothing on me. Always perfect. Well done.
Been here a dozen of times threw out the years and I can say is this was my last time. We sat with others and seen how the chef split (2) 10oz steaks between 4 adults.. very disappointed in the small portions more like lunch sized but still over $100 meal for us. Cutting corners here, will not be returning.
Sushi is very good, wide selection of alcohol although the menu could use a little of a revamp. The house drinks are meh. But the hibachi is really the main attraction here and it's well worth making a trip here for it. The staff are polite and service is quick. You usually get a little a bit of everything when they cook for large groups. Haven't left hungry ever.
I love Le Valleuris. The food and service was as good as it gets! I had the beef cheeks and my husband had the veal. I can truly say the sauces were wonderful. The beef was tender and so flavorful. The veal was not overcooked and delicious. The lighting and the ambiance was very romantic. What a special night:)
