Fun to get to Via the ferry. A lot of products to choose from all good quality. Many things come in kits and have to be put together at home. Make sure to eat some Swedish meatballs while you are there!

Purchased a $700 couch from them. Paid $60 for someone to bring it to the city then paid another $30 for them to bring it up 6 flights of stairs. The couch was entirely broken and missing tools. Called Ikea and they transferred me 5 times to end up at a voicemail. Called again then said they could offer me a $50 gift card if we could bring the broken couch to them.the absolute most atrocious customer service I've ever experienced. If you're going to sell a broken product, you should come pick it up. But no, they want me to spend another $90 to bring them back this trash.

Please do yourself a favor and save your money and buy elsewhere or pay more for a quality product.

This company can eat a dick. Pure garbage.

I spent hours here selecting furniture for my apartment. It has a great set up with multiple rooms displaying various designs and setups to help you select what works best for you. The staff are very friendly (albeit very busy) and the cafeteria serves great meatballs and cake!
I also really liked the selection downstairs that focused on smaller items such as cushions/potted plants etc. Its a massive collection and you can spend ages browsing it if that's what you enjoy.
The quality of all the furniture I received was really good. I highly recommend getting it delivered and assembled if you're buying big items as the guys that assembled my furniture knew exactly what they were doing and had seen it all many times.

Great experience, very organized and clean.
Make sure you download the IKEA app on your phone and add all the items instead of writing it in the paper with pencils

Staff was good, cashier could have been friendlier..
The Salmon and Meatballs were very tasty and the food prices were even better.

This IKEA is useful because of its proximity to the city. You’ll have a more pleasant experience if you do your research beforehand and see which items they have in stock. It’s not unusual for this location to be sold out of popular items. There’s many ways to get to this location; water taxi and shuttles from Brooklyn train stops. Other than that, it’s a good IKEA.

I made a large purchase at this IKEA store about two years ago. The staff there were not really willing to help, and the store was really crowded. I found it difficult to navigate the large store and was very overwhelmed looking through the warehouse because some things were not available that they said were available online. I would meticulously plan out any purchase here online and ensure that it is in stock. Alternatively, I would say for any large purchase to have them deliver it to your home. Overall, great deals with a large selection.

Absolutely fantastic location with a great variety of household items.

It’s definitely short staffed. Once you’ve figured out what you wanted, it could be about a 5-10 min wait for a printout of your order. In retail, 5-10 is a loooooong time.

Store is clean and the layout is easy to follow.

The food is actually really good. You’ve got to check it out. Heck, once in a while, I just go there for lunch.

You need to have a lot of time in order to be able to telly enjoy Ikea. The showroom is nicely organelles to give you ideas on how to fit lots if storage info small places. You can also have the luxury of leaving he kids in babysitting so you can ship in peace. I hear the meatballs are great though I have never had them.

My most recent visit was on a Saturday and I took the ferry over from Manhattan which was fun on a nice day. The only caveat being that there was a pretty long line, so I will leave earlier next time. It is such a fun place to do some shopping for the home and the prices are very low. I also enjoyed the cafeteria and the famous IKEA Swedish meatballs.

I prefer the Brooklyn IKEA over the Long Island location. Parking is easier and the store is more spacious.
Same stuff, same show room maze, same market.
Hot dogs are now $0.7 each. Get the combo for $2; two hit dogs & a soda.
Access from highway is a little tricky with the one-way streets.

Great place to shop for inexpensive furniture. You enter the store & just follow the path. Only one way to go. Ok they could have laid down the red feet stickers like Century 21, but why bother?? There's only one way to go. It's not a confusing maze. My only issue is the lack of more offerings when it comes to more choices for bedroom dresser chests. Not much to choose from. A great option IKEA has is they have rental vans starting at 19.95 plus mileage/fees (in town). Love this place!!

Don't know what I like most. The cool displays or the good treats at the snack counter. Their fast food prices are very reasonable. Pick up a frozen yogurt after shopping. It wont disappoint.

The store itself is good, but the customer service is so so so bad. There was an issue with my order and they wouldn't fix it over the phone with me, made me come out to the store, and then couldn't fix it once I got there. Other than the horrible customer service, IKEA is great and I've liked everything I've bought there.

As awesome as any IKEA. I arrived with the subway to Borough Hall, and then took the Ikea Shuttle. It is a bit confusing to get to the shuttle stop, but if you ask around, everyone knows and points you towards it.
The store is very neat, there is a broad variety of products and often they have incredible offers.

*If you plan to go by Water Taxi, be sure to know the schedule first, because I arrived at the pier and on that day, the water taxi was not working until after noon.

I love this location. This store is very easy to navigate and there is always someone around to help. The only down fall is the cafeteria which is always crowded. the lines are extremely long on the weekends which is a real drag when you have small children.
