My daughter loved this place, she found that certain doll that she had been looking for, along with the outfits that she wanted. My son, to his credit, was very good here and helped her find what she was looking for, which made the experience that much more pleasant. If you can't find the American Girl accessories you are looking for here, they probably don't exist.
So so so disappointed in the cafe. My daughter will eat just about anything but did not eat more then one bite of her burger because it tasted “gross” and cold. The chicken in my salad was PINK, my salad had 3 cherry tomatoes, and one slice of avocado. I tried her fries and they tasted exactly like Reheated soggy fast food fries. For $70 I wanted to cry. Other then the TERRIBLE food, the store itself was great. Such a waste of money you’re better off eating a hot dog from a street vendor that dropped on the ground then here.
I went today to the new location 75 and Rockefeller plaza to buy my daughter Janelis birthday gift The truly me #59 doll. This has become a tradition for the past three years.we shop a lot during the year that we became a Gold Member.I like how all the employees are very welcoming and very helpful to all the parents and the children. I would like to thank the salesperson name Asia for her very good customer service she was very sweet and very attentive she said hello at the beginning and said enjoy your gift when we left and she answered all our questions and inquiries. The new location was fun but I like the old location better.
Daughter loves it here for every reason. They have a cafe upstairs that is great to make a nice day with her. They always seem to have something my daughter likes. The dolls are quality and timeless. She has been into American Girl since she was 4 and I'm sure will be for many more years.
This store is great we bring our daughter here any time we're in Manhattan. Be advised: it has relocated to 75 Rockefeller Plaza. I suggested the edit to Google, but they have not updated it. BTW, we like the new store better. It is a more open floor space and fewer floors than the previous location.
It's definitely got a lot more space a more quantities of items but honestly the Atlanta one is better. Not one employee greeted, spoke with or acknowledged us. It was surreal to go to each floor but overall average. However the Nanea window display was incredible!
The absolute pinical of a mom and daughter store. It's amazing. You have to go at least once in your life when you kids are young. Amazing!
My daughter loved it. Two thumbs up for fitting us in even though we arrived late due to late trains AND getting lost 😑 The food was quite terrible, but my daughter loved it soooo, oh well. I had the pesto pasta, which was more like an inch of olive oil with some basil in it. I kid you not.. 😑 stick with a salad!
Took my niece to the storeand the look on her face was priceless. It was an awesome experience. Special thanks to Sandra in the front of the store who explained everything to me. Since I haven't done doll shopping in about 20 years, my daughter is 26 years old. I guess Sandra saw the look on my face. Very professional and courteous. Spent a few hours there but it was well worth it. The food is okthe cake is to die for. Once again thank you Sandra for a great time.
This is a tremendous experience for a young girl. I brought my daughter here a few times and she loves to get immersed in this store. Yes, the items are expensive, but if you can afford it I think when my daughter is older she will have warm memories of visiting this store and her American Girl Doll.
Nothing is better than the smile on an eight year olds face. Spent the day (yes, open to close onv5-3-17) and my niece loved every square inch. Fortunately we live close. (If you don't, come during the week and when the kids are in school. We had the store to ourselves.) The woman at the beauty counter was very sweet. Lunch was fabulous and the craft was fun. What a day!
Loved their dolls since I was a little girl (I had Kirsten). We go periodically to browse. We've had tea at the café which was cute. I purchased my son's bitty baby here and will be purchasing one for my daughter soon. It's especially nice to see everything from the catalogue in real life before purchasing. The quality is also amazing, you get what you pay for.
I took my daughters here when they were little, and great memories created. The staff pampers customers and make you feel special. A must do is the "American Girl Cafe". The dolls get a special seat. Staff is fun and attentive.
I had a great time there. The dolls are beautiful and the outfits were adorable too. Even though a little pricey it was great quality. I also loved the food. The employees were all so friendly and helpful. These dolls let you express your creativity and I do recommend!!!😄
The store is very nice. However, after having a birthday dinner for my daughter, they did not honor our purchase because it was 858pm. So she didn't get what she ultimately came for. Not to mention, they charged my card twice for $320 for dinner
