The staff was very warm and accommodating. Both the guest rooms and the conference space were updated and comfortable. The small patio spaces outside the first floor rooms were very nice and added an additional level of privacy from the parking lot area. The outside patio and pool area was well maintained. Nice that it is within walking distance of restaurants and the grocery store as well.

We loved our stay! The price was very reasonable, the staff was friendly, the grounds are gorgeous, and the room was great. The hotel was out of our way from our final destination, but I would happily make the journey to stay again.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming l, and attentive. The rooms had a couch and a desk with more than enough room for two people. The hotel is walking distance to many great local restaurants and a few minutes drive to a few great bars. It's the second time I've stayed here and my experience was just as good as the first time.

Nice location and lobby but rooms leave you with a feeling that perhaps you paid a little bit too much. My room had a very nice view but it was a dated. Hopefully they will upgrade their rooms soon.

everything was wonderful, the only issue I had is I could somewhat heat my neighbor and they weren't being super loud. thin walls. still slept well enough and enjoyed great service and breakfast at the bar below. nice fire side lounge area as well (outdoors)

Rented a small room for a board of directors meeting. Room was clean, well equipped. Catering was meh, but they were attentive when we needed a cable or had trouble with the lights. Lunch in the restaurant was OK. If you have time, head across the street to eat.

We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel during a business trip. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were clean and the grounds well manicured. Primary complaint, if any, would be that the beds are not good. Definitely hurting my back after the nights.

We stayed in the hotels on this trip and this one was the nicest. Beautiful lobby, nice outdoor pool, and good size rooms. We got two adjoining rooms, which was nice to close the door and have kids in next room, but it was pricey and would've preferred a suite, like other hotels have. Parking was convenient (you do not need valet) and staff was so-so. Rooms were kind of dated and elevators we're very slow. Fortunately we were on second floor, so we just started using the stairs.

Easy location, right on the highway.

It has been over 3 weeks since we contacted Hyatt in response to our poor experience. Although the hotel has confirmed receipt of our correspondence we have yet to hear back from anyone. This reinforces the dismissive attitude management has of its guests and the attention to detail that is lacking. We take to reviews to warn others of this gross misrepresentation that the Hyatt Regency Westlake affords the luxuries, attention and comfort expected from a world resort chain. We chose the Hyatt Regency Westlake to host 20+ rooms for our wedding and the entire stay was riddled with disappointment. From the horrible communication that resulted in guests not getting their welcome bags at check-in and overbooking of rooms that infringed on our guests privacy to terrible ant problem and issues with our catering, we encourage all to think long and hard before spending large sums of money here. The saving grace were the front desk and bell staff that made the experience bearable. Still waiting

Room Service is not good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is ok nothing wow but once again the service is great. Overall the hotel is better than other hotels within the same price range and star level (3 Stars). 3 stars for a three star hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights and we weren't really impressed. Comparing to the other Hyatt hotels we have stayed at ( more than 10 other Hyatt hotels ) I would rate this one the most basic. The room we stayed at was very dated with minimal furniture , very loud AC and stuffy air. No slippers or robes. We ordered room service and it was ok. The lady who brought our food was very nice.

Attended a wedding, so cannot comment on the rooms. Hotel facilities are very nice, beautiful lobby and outdoor event area. Service was excellent and everything was very clean and professional. Free guest self parking available.

My husband and I will be writing the manager and the corporate office about our treatment at this particular Hyatt. We were made to wait three hours for a room, inquiring three separate times about room availability while others passed us by, luggage in tow towards their rooms. We were told that checkout is at a ridiculous four o'clock. We are Discover level members, and since we had a funeral to attend, I had to change to appropriate clothing in the public restroom in order to be ready.
We even got some pushback on a late check-out. All of a sudden, checkout was twelve noon. Sorriest treatment anywhere.

We attended the Mother's Day fancy brunch. It was incredible! Food was great, selection was amazing, staff were EXCELLENT. The ambiance was wonderful, and it was lovely having a photographer on hand to do a family photo for free! Will definitely we coming back next year.
