Our room was clean and very comfortable! Pool was heated nicely and stocked! Continental breakfast had a pleasing variety! What stands out, the staff! Everyone was helpful and informative!

Nice little place on top of a hill very isolated. A little hard to find because you literally have to drive through a shopping center and up a small road behind it to go up to the hotel. Rooms where very nice. Especially the pillows

Room was spacious and clean with microwave, frige and coffee pot. Sliding door to small balcony, although our room had a view of the road it was still nice to step out and get some fresh air. I had a nice time here ,thank you 👌

I've spend many nights at this hotel, prior to the renovations and after. Exceptionally clean and organized. Perfect location just off the freeway but hidden enough to feel secluded. Whenever i am in San Clemente or San Diego, this is the place for me.

My family and I had a great stay here. This property itself was clean and we'll kept. The entire.staff was friendly and helpful and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel/grounds looked. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

This is an excellent hotel In San Clemente, CA. Sarah, the receptionist, is superb. Very cheerful, friendly, and hard working. She made our stay very pleasant.
Breakfast is excellent and the variety is great. Very nice egg white omelets. They even have a pancake making machine which guests can use.response / report this review -

This Holiday Inn Express in San Clemente was great. Good out of the way location. Generally clean. It had good continental breakfast options that were included in the room rate. Parking was ample. I had an issue with the initial room assigned to us but they were quick to move us to another. Only disappointment was they couldn't move me to the same type of room so the kids had to sleep on a pull out sofa bed. The WiFi was very slow and comments from the staff indicated this is not that unusual. I will definitely return.

I made a reservation, they sold out of the room type I had reserved and put three people in the only room available, a king bed. One of the party graciously slept in the chair/ottoman combo. The breakfast buffet was okay. Just a 'meh" experience from start to finish

Nice clean hotel with all the amenities you'd expect and more. A very good value for the price. Hotel is in an odd location but we found it. I will definitely stay here again!

A really good hotel for the price. Well maintained and nice rooms, friendly staff. As of May 2017 the lobby is being redone, and rooms will be redone in 2018, but they don't really need it. Beds are very comfortable. Just watch out because most king rooms are on the side that face the freeway, which can be noisy.

Quiet and secluded. Their staff has always been more than accommodating to any requests I have had and most importantly are always very courteous. The rooms all have private patios and have always been meticulously clean inside and out. I love this hidden gem not only for the relaxing atmosphere but also the free breakfast and awesome staff! From the front desk to the housekeeping the environment is inviting for sure making this my home away from home.
