I stay at a lot of hotels and am primarily just looking for a bed, so I don't typically care about how polite a staff is and things of that nature. That being said, the staff here is so overtly friendly and helpful, that it really did make a huge difference and I really enjoyed my stay. On top of that, the entire hotel was very clean, the rooms were very nice and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had at hotels that come with a free breakfast. I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years, and this one was by far the best all around. I can't mention how accomodating and pleasant every member of the staff was. I highly recommend this hotel.

Front desk staff is super helpful and nice. Continental breakfast. There's other amenities like a pool and gym but did not have a chance to use it. We had the king size bedroom and it was very spacious. The only downside was the freezer/fridge did not work very well but they accomodated my needs with their employer refrigerator which was fantastic of them!

Nice friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool with cabanas. Only problem would be that every night someone would park in the parking lot at about 10pm and have their car stereo turned all the way up, I expected management to talk to them or call the police as it was very loud in the rooms but it went on every night for my entire stay.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in awhile at a hotel. My hotel room smells like cleaner though, and not the fresh kind. Overall my stay was very good.

The hotel itself is really nice but the bed in the king suite was too hard. Both my husband and I woke up with serious back pain, I personally kept tossing and turning all night and couldn't get comfortable. The wifi wouldn't connect on our phones but it worked for our tablet, not sure why. The breakfast was good and had a great variety. Overall everything except for the bed was awesome I have to give it a 3 though because we only stayed 1 night and main use was to sleep.

We recieved excellent customer service until my fiance and I recieved a call insuiating that we were smoking weed in our room. The front desk attendant Danielle called us to say that there was a complait and repeatedly told us that we were not supposed to be smoking even after we told her it was not us. We feel it is completely reasonable for customers to call and complain if uncomfortable. We also feel that it is acceptable for the hotel to call to inquire who the culprits are. However if the assumed culplrit says that it is not them, they do not need to be harassed and made out to be liars. We are not sure if she felt like we were definitely smoking weed because we were black or because we were young, however that is no excuse to humiliate us. Next time if the customer says no, take their word for it or check for yourself. We even invited her up to the room during the phone call to come check it out herself and she declined twice. We were also told by another front desk attendant that we were the only ones who were called about the situation. A hotel full of people and for some reason, we were singled out. Danielles arrogance and persistence in her assumptions really upset us. That is horrible customer service and she didn't even find out who was smoking weed. She's not as good as we thought she was and shes not that great of a problem solver.

Staff was professional and friendly. The meeting room was very clean and well organized. The air was up a little bit too high, but it was okay. All in all I enjoyed my experience there at the Holiday Inn Express Austin Northwest .

Room was spacious, hotel was very convenient to Lake Travis. Breakfast was a big variety, pancakes were amazing. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Lake Travis!
