Did not feel safe! Too many strange vehicles and goings on in parking lot at 2am!

Payment for the entire stay was demanded up front, when they had our reservation wrong they charged a 2 night stay and a 3 night stay and it was 16hrs before it was corrected. Half the ice machines were broken and the hot breakfast consisted of toaster waffles, biscuits and bagles. We were woken up to some sort of alarm at 3:46. Pros housekeeping was excellent, view is beautiful.

Quite trashy. There were several cigarette burns on the tub and on the blankets. Cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Many strange stains of various colors on the carpet, chair and curtains. The air smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and there was what appeared to be semen splattered on the wall. The breakfast was poor quality and there was mold growing on the wall behind where the food was. There was no juice, milk or yogurt. There was a random crock pot with gravy in it. Do not stay here. Better to sleep in your car.

It was a nice place to stay. Friendly staff very helpful had smiles on there faces. Room was very clean bed was comfortable. We have stayed here when we are on vacation. Will be back next year.

The view is amazing and so is the staff. The rooms are super outdated and all have a weird smell. Also the lobby have stuff falling from ceiling. I went here for a vacation and ended up breaking my ankle the first night the next day I requested a room on the first floor and they did it with no issues. It's really close to everything. If they spent a little money upgrading the location it would be allot better.

This place is relatively cheap, and that is about all the good I can say about it. Half the lights in my room did not work, the TV was tiny and at least 20 years old, and no AC was turned on in the room prior to when I checked in (temp that day was ~95°), just to name a few issues. I would recommend staying at another hotel in Salem, even if it is a few dollars more; it will be worth it.

My girlfriend and I needed a last minute place to stay, so we came and stayed at this Inn. I had read horrible reviews about the place and good reviews, so here is our opinion (considering we aren't picky).
-It is out dated but it was clean (a few dead bugs on the carpet but I'm assuming that's because the room was empty for a while).
-The bathroom was small, but clean and we had two long showers with plenty of hot water.
-The beds are somewhat comfy (no bed bugs that I saw, and I checked the mattress before getting in it).
-Free breakfast is very minimal, but restaurants are close by.
-Wifi was fast for our iPhones.
-The view is amazing!!!
*In a nutshell, it's fine for a night or two. It only costed $52 a night for us both, and that was fine for what we got. We'd stay here again if we needed to. Try not to be uptight and picky when you just need somewhere to sleep for a day.response / report this review -

It was okay for the price. Clean enough. We couldn't get the heat to work so we were really cold at night. The bathroom also had a heat lamp that gets really hot so be careful. But overall not bad for the money. The view is beautiful!
