Room was great, staff responsive restaurant and bar were a storage facility for empty boxes, and a hanging rack of table cloths stored in plain sight by the pantry. Would've given 5 stars if not for those two things

Stayed to avoid a snowstorm. Got trapped in for a couple days. The rooms are nice and clean, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is convenient to a mall and a Walmart, so if you need anything it's right there, and it's close enough to the highway to make for a good overnight stay if you're road tripping.

Great lodging, extremely clean rooms, very comfortable pillow top mattresses, and TOP NOTCH staff. Marketing & sales director, Mrs Wall took care of everything for us. Kim's Restaurant and bar tender was phenomenal and the food was excellent as well.

A new, clean and well managed hotel. Our room (2 queens) was a good size and very pleasant. Breakfast was standard fare but very good. And the location was very convenient to Blacksburg and the Football stadium!

I am not a reviewer. My experience was worthy of a review. Several weeks ago I moved long distance from Christiansburg. My mother is disabled and I needed a place where she could stay while our things were moved. The hotel spent an hour or more showing us rooms and discussing what would work best to accommodate her needs including moving furniture from another room and a stool.
When we checked in everything was in place. Any need my mother had while there the front desk resolved.

I only spent a brief amount of time at this hotel, as I got in late at night and left early the next morning. However, the room was spacious and clean when I arrived, and the staff were friendly. There was free continental breakfast, which some other holiday inns do not provide, so that was a plus too.

A pleasant stay at a property that falls slightly below the expected standards of the brand.
This is a very nice location, with clean grounds and a modern decor, though, the parking is a bit cramped due to the hotels location sandwiched between a restaurant and a Wall-Mart.
The staff is friendly and helpful, as expected of the level of professionalism for HI properties. There is a spacious lobby and a sundry shop that is well equipped.
The lounge is small, but cozy. There is a food menu that diverges from the common HI menu.
The gym is a weak point of the hotel, as it is poorly equipped and outdated.
The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, without any bells or whistles.
Overall, this hotel will offer you a comfortable stay, with a pleasant staff, in a hotel that falls on the lower of average range for amenities and atmosphere of the Holiday Inn brand.response / report this review -

The motel was great. Easy check in. Big beautiful nice clean rooms. Very close to several good restaurant's. The breakfast that was served was way better than your normal hotel breakfast. Will stay again.

Nice modern hotel. Lots of restaurants and some shopping nearby. Walking trail directly behind hotel. Managers reception on Wednesday evenings. This is a hotel at which I stay regularly.

One of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Contemporary decor, great staff. Room was super clean, tons of amenities and close to shopping and dining. Rooms were super quiet, and that gave me peace of mind when my 10 month old cried the neighbor wouldn't hear! 5 star, will stay again!

Very nicely appointed rooms. Big screen TV in rooms and very comfortable beds and pillows. Hotel has a full restaurant and a bar. Friendly and accommodating staff. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Easily one of the best places to stay in the New River Area. The place is very clean, comes with a pool and workout area and great breakfast options. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and this Holiday Inn is top notch. If you're looking for an upscale, clean place to stay this is it. Stop looking!
