I visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg often. Love the area. I have nothing against an older hotel. Actually kinda like it. However, worst experience ever. First off; I show up at check in time and room is not ready. The front desk tells me will be ready in 15 minutes. End up waiting 45 minutes in lobby. Then they let me go to room and tell me the linen will be there later and for us to continue with our plans. We come back 6 hours later, time for my son's bedtime and linen had not been changed still. I go down to front desk and they look into it and find we hadn't even been checked into the system. Room we were given had not even been cleaned. Finally they give us another room. We finally get into the new room after transferring all of our belongings after unpacking and then packing again. Finally get in to new room well past my son's bedtime. Basically it comes down to staff. I can deal with little things. Nothing is perfect but dealing with staff that can't do their job even to the lowest of standards really made it that much worse. For $120 a night, never coming back here again. Oh yeah! Did I mention they didn't even offer anything to try and get our business again. Go figure!

It's a great place, however, it is a bit outdated but nothing to the extremes. The only issues I had with the hotel is that it was located on a huge hill so walking was out of the question. The staff is wonderful though and I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to drive to your destination from there. It's fairly close to everything such as the island.

Nice place for those on a budget. Older building and rooms but nice staff and quick to handle issues that may come up. 4 floors with stairs or an elevator to accommodate.

Old but decentthat's the best way to describe the hotel. It was convenient for a one night stay. The beds are extra firm and did not make for a comfortable night sleep for me. However if you like your mattress extra firm, this is the hotel for you. I didn't try breakfast so I can't review. Staff was great!!! Quick and easy check in and out. I paid 88 through hotwire. So you get what you pay for. A convenient, clean dated hotel stay.

Great room for the price. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The building is a bit outdated, but customer service is wonderful as were the other guests. The pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast leaves something to be desired, but its free and held us over until lunch. We would stay again.

Decent place to stay, especially if you're on a budget. Clean rooms, although outdated, which I expected. Don't go there thinking you're going to get $150 accommodations for $70 and you won't be disappointed. The view from our room was beautiful and an added bonus for the price! We watched the sunset from their deck and it was breathtaking. The location is also great and right next to all of the touristy stuff. I was happy with the staff, they were really friendly. Downside to our stay was that the pool pump broke the day we got there and wouldn't be fixed until we left two days later..but the manager stated we were allowed to use the pool at the hotel next door until they fixed it. We didn't take them up on that but it was nice they offered.

This hotel is a hidden treasure. Located above the main road with a great view of the mountains and the sunset. The pool has just been renovated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. My only let down was breakfast. There was cereal, toast, bagels, and, orange juice, coffee but no eggs, meat, or waffles like most continental breakfasts. We will definitely be back. I was told if I call directly to book I would get a better rate than going through a booking app.

Although the hotel staff very friendly the hotel was not very clean. Stayed 3 nights our room was cleaned only once. The very minimal breakfast was not kept up or good. The pool remained cold due to the circulation came from a garden hose. Not a place i will stay again.

Not fancy but clean rooms. Wouldn't want to stay a week but okay for a night or two when everywhere else is booked. We prefer Mtn View Condos next door where you get 1200 sq ft and 2 & 3 bedrooms.
