Literally overnight the place went from a one star to a four. I awoke to find the carpet was changed overnight. Also, they are building a breakfast nook. This is a fine establishment
Good hotel for a couple night stay. Beds were comfy, it was quiet. There was some renovation going on that didn't affect us. Parking was fine. The area was more industrial but not really sketchy. The breakfast wasn't great, but you get what you pay for. Denny's is conveniently located right next door.
Rooms were acceptable but lots of remodeling. Maid came in my room with doorknob do not disturb on. Pool was questionable in appearance. For staying 4 days I would have liked to check in early since their occupancy was very low on my first day. No laundry available. Felt safe and price was good.
Nice clean room close to the 5 freeway. Downtown L.A. only a few minutes away by car. Service staff friendly and helpful. All in all a thumbs up.
The hotel is being refurbished. No one tells you that in the time you are doing your reservation. So the lobby, elevator and the 4th floor are in a deplorable state. Nevertheless, the room is quite good. Looks new and the bathroom is also clean and handy.
Interior was a little rundown. Appears to be going through renovations. Otherwise rooms were comfortable employees helpful.
The hotel is in a very dangerous area.
The entire hotel is under construction.
And the pool contains chemicals which allegedly are known to the California state to cause cancer. Have fun ;)
Value for money. Clean & Quiet rooms . Free parking. Good option for a short stay
The hotel was clean and neat. The problem with the hotel was, they were least bothered about the customers. There are many Ramada's in LA, we lost track of where we were staying and ended up in a different Ramada. It was the one in downtown, the lady in reception was very kind to call each and every place and check where we were staying. After a great struggle we came to the place we were staying. And we wanted to reach our room, but the access cards got magnetised by keeping with the mobile phone, with small kids we were asking for help, but the reception people were so lethargic and took nearly half an hour for that.
And another big disaster was the complimentary breakfast.
The hotel is undergoing a full renovation. Our room was halfly done. The bathroom was very nice though. The breakfast buffet was a little bit disappointing : no fruits, no bacon, no real tables but folding tables. The swimming pool was closed. As a conclusion, I think it will be a nice place to stay for a night or two once the renovation is done
Awesome staff. Beautiful clean rooms, great showers and great beds. Nice if pillows would be a little more comfortable other than that, we would definitely come back, only not for a funeral. Thank you staff.
Nice staff for sure. The new reno room are nice. It's not the nicest area but a guard walks around outside because of the area I guess. Looking out the window can see the old stuff from some of the room just in a pile. I think it would help if that was removed and the parking lots was kept up. But they are making changes which is good. But great staff which is everything.
I stay here 2 to 3 times a week due to work and I can tell you this place sucks. It's convenient there is a Denny's right next door but I pack lunches and not every room has a fridge, nor a microwave. The place feels run down and they say they are under renovation but the weight room has been down for weeks and they don't even know when it will open up, there are hardly any mirrors in the rooms (sometimes you get lucky). I always feel the need to pull the covers off the bed to check for anything before climbing in.
