One of the best hotels I've stayed in. It was nice and clean and very enjoyable shower. The room was so big that we had a living room as well. The fridge came in handy if we had leftovers from dinner. The service was great and the restaurant downstairs was delicious!
Stayed on Saturday, August 12th.
Very conveniently (walking distance) located to shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
Very nice small hotel, smaller and more intimate than the regency, located just down the street.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, even told me that they'd open the doors to the rooftop pool, for me, so I could watch the Perseid Meteor Shower, but it was too over cast.
Room was very clean and perfect for a romantic evening with a loved one.
Room comes with a bottle of rum, vodka and gin, to go with the soda and mixers in the refrigerator, all at an extra cost, of course.
The king size bed was comfy with lots of fluffy pillows and blankets.needless to say, I slept well!
It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the high end service and location. I'd recommend it to my friends and family.
We went to the bar for a few drinks after the TwitchCon event was a total bust. The bartender was attentive and mixed reasonably strong yet delicious drinks, the atmosphere was comfortable and the restrooms were well maintained. The beer selection, while small, was adequate and better than you'd expect for a bar in a hotel lobby. It was perfect for what we needed, which was to end the night in a relaxed manner.
Service was amazing. The area is quite nice. There's many places to eat and activities to do. They're near an aquarium and there's a boat that takes you whale watching. The night life is pretty fun.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel, besides the parking. It cost $15 to park every time you leave. But that's the only negative thing about this hotel.
It's absolutely gorgeous.. The best hotel I've stayed in. The rooms were beautifully decorated. A gorgeous sliding door that leads into the bathroom with a giant walk in shower with a rainfall shower head. Outstanding service and room. A tv that turns 180 degrees. Faces the bed or the couch. Amazing hotel. Would recommend it.

The hotel and room itself were beautiful and clean. The only disappointment we had was with customer service. I called before our checkin to see if they do anything special because I had just proposed the night before. They did move us to a higher floor, however when we arrived the staff seemed cold and didn't acknowledge our engagement. Other than that the stay was comfortable. The check out staff were real warm. The rooftop pool was enjoyable. The location is unbeatable. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance right at the Pine. Great ambiance too. Overall, would stay again.
Great place, friendly staff. Close to other much larger Hyatt. Make sure you drive to the correct hotel. Parking in garage nearby. $16 daily flatt rate.
Hotel is updated and clean. Walking distance from shop, restaurant & pier. Beds very comfortable. Rooftop pool had a spectaculuar view at night. Staff was accommodating & friendly. The lighting in rooms was poor and the outlets were minimal and in odd locations. The shower was large and pressure was good. The lack of a fan in bathroom was surprising. The fridge was unable to be used since it was full of things to buy. No microwave either.
Check-in was quick and to the point, and the staff were all really nice. Even the other guests all had a vibe like we were at some celebrity party. The room wasn't the biggest, but wasn't small enough to cause any distress. Overall it had a modern feel to it, especially with the rain shower and turning TV, and I'm glad to have booked it. The girlfriend loved it too.
Interesting location being basically inside an outlet mall. Staff is generally friendly and helpful and facilities seem modern. This is getting a poor rating because there was trash in the toilet in my room right when I checked in. Someone clearly didn't do their job all the way.
Makes me wonder what other things they missed while cleaning the room.
Nice hotel located in a great spot for tourists. Outlet shopping and many chain restaurants within walking distance. Also very close to the convention center.
Rooms were nice and clean. Large showers and comfy beds. The pool has a 360 view of the area and is shielded from the wind.
A great place to stay in Long Beach!
