We had a premium king room, and it was very nice! It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the toiletries smelled amazing. The staff was all very friendly, and the restaurant connected to the hotel was tasty. The only places it lost points: there was a small yellow spot on one of the shelves that was kind of gross We just pulled the sheet off so it wasn't a huge deal. We were also still in our room at 8:45am when housekeeping came one morning, and also in our room at 6pm that night getting ready to go out for the evening, so our room never got made up that day. Also not the end of the world, but it seemed worth mentioning. Good experience on the whole, though, I'll definitely be staying there again.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Centrally located to everything. The staff was so helpful with recommendations and directions. We had a great time here. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome and like family

Michael at the front desk was great! I am an early riser for exercise, and he was quite helpful and I felt quite safe in entering/exiting the hotel. Additionally, when I asked in advance to have my vehicle at 6:15 a.m., it was there waiting for me when I checked out. The only thing I think I had a little trouble with (and I am quite a clean freak) is that when I went to plug in my laptop and phone to work from the room, the outlets were not real convenient to the work desk and I noticed build-up of dust in those areas where you don't readily see. All in all, the cleanliness and location were great! There's a great little coffee/sandwich shop on the next block called Hero, and it's convenient to State Street, Michigan Avenue, and the Loop. There's also a Gino's East right across the street. The weight room is sufficient for a quick workout while traveling and does fine as long as you aren't expecting your franchised big gym. Especially if you're traveling for business, this was a great place to stay.

it honestly was such a great place to stay. a gentlemen greeted me at the door, and was very polite. the rooms had really high ceilings and the view wasn’t all that great, it was a brick wall. but hey, it was still really good. the streets were really loud, but we were on like the 2nd or 3rd floor. i enjoyed my stay.

Rooms are nice! Every staff member we met was so friendly, especially Showtime!! A very sweet man who can tell you where to eat no matter what you want or what you didn't know you wanted! Hotel Blake is conveniently located to all the popular tourist attractions . Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel close to Chicago loop. Staff is very friendly, some live music in lobby for happy hour is a nice touch. Rooms recently rehabbed and are very cozy. Quiet overnight atmosphere. Great bellhops too!

Hotel Blake is a chic hotel that is located very close to the fountain and Millennial Park. Also, its a 15 walk to the train station. The popular Meli's cafe is right next door and has a wonderful array of dishes on their menu. The only downside I would say is that they do not gave their own parking lot and there is no complimentary breakfast. All in all, it's still a very nice hotel to stay at with lot of activities to offer.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Concierge and valet staff were outstanding - very personable, friendly, and attentive. Great location, and the building itself is immaculate and has a highly historical feel. Housekeeping was very friendly and took great care of us as well. Short walk to the downtown amenities. The restaurant in the building has great selections of food and drink. Overall, highly impressed. We'll be back!

Excellent service, staff, and location. Only critique would be cleanliness which I would give 9/10 (still pretty good). Also just want to shout out Jamar, he's the guy to see there if you have an issue (which you won't) or if you need suggestions on where to go and what to do while in Chicago. He deserves a raise and a promotion!

We had a great stay! Room and facilities were clean. The bellhop/concierge, Showtime, was the best! He gave us great recommendations for where to eat and gave us some coupons. Very friendly front desk staff!

Service has been excellent. Staff is very welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are slightly dated, but very spacious and comfortable. There is also a nice workout area with a nice street view. I would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is second to none. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. The riooms are clean, spacious, and well laid out. The Blake it's what every hotel should be. Stay here!

Room is very spacious and elegant. Great quality and price. King bed is very comfortable. Very centrally located in the loop. Valet parking is expensive at $45 a night. The amenities are very nice. Refrigerator and microwave in room.

I love staying at this Hampton. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming. Everything appears clean and in good repair. The pool is always clean in the hot tub as well. Normally there's nobody in there because I believe most people our business travelers. I've stayed here for years and I've never been bothered by parties or loud visitors.
