Hotel is undergoing rennovations I assume most of the issues we had will be resolved in the future. Our 2 BR fireplace suite was missing some living room furniture (no loveseat or coffee table / cubes). Fireplace was non-working. Plates and cutlery in the cabinets were not clean and there was no dishwashing soap or dishwasher detergent provided. This was not the Hilton-brand experience we were expecting on this visit. Complimentary coffee breakfast was nice. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

The Homewood suites are conveniently located close to Dallas without feeling like the big city. The canals running next to the complex provide a beautiful place to walk, and the nearby lake (a short walk) is a great place to relax. It's a peaceful home away from home.

These places are getting older and Hilton doesn't seem to want to keep them up to date. Used to be really nice, now barely adequate.

Quiet, old hotel with clean and large rooms.
Don't expect any extra service aside from the front desk.
I do love it because of the proximity to the office, the jogging track just down the road, the quiet neighborhood.

Don' t book it, I usually stay in Homewoods Suites and book this for my wife and kids to go to Six Flags. Unfortunate it was a night Dallas was playing at home. so rooms were hard to find. When my wife gets there front desk wanted a different payment, even thought I had already put a credit card on the room. when I booked it i was quoted one rate but she checked in she was charged a different rate. After this night I'm done with Hilton. I even called the front desk just as my wife was checking and she wouldn't listen to anything i had to say and hung up on me. I will be talking to manager in the morning.Wife stated the rooms look old and date like it is an old apartment complex.

My wife and I really love Homewood Suites and stay at them often. Usually a great place for the price. The only reason for the 3 stars is because this location is more a terraced apartment complex with separate buildings. Getting around isn't terrible but not what I want when staying at home. Also they do have ice machines for your convenience. It's not a bad place at all, but it's not the most convenient property to stay at.

Very dated. Needs a complete make over. The room appeared dirty. The curtains were ripped. The carpet was stained. Dirty vents and ceiling fans. The pool was closed due to renovation and it appeared they were in no hurry to get it completed. For a Hilton property this place is a disgrace to the franchise. The local Super 8 or Motel 6 would have been better. Don't waste your money or rewards points here. Look elsewhere.

The check in process was incredibly poor. We booked two rooms six months ago and they could not find the rooms despite having a confirmation. After twenty minutes and three people being involved we were given two rooms on the third floor of building E on the far side of the complex. When we arrived at the building and unloaded our luggage we found out that the elevator in building E did not work. At the age of 62 we did not feel this was acceptable and reloaded the car and returned to the lobby to get different rooms. When we got back to the lobby not only did they did not apologize for the poor service they told us we would have to get rooms in separate buildings. After another twenty minutes of going back and forth the manager relented and told us that a room with a late check out which hadn't been cleaned yet could be assigned to us along with the room across the hall. Since the room would not be ready for a while, we decided to go eat and we informed that we would be called when the rooms ready. Two hours later we finally called the hotel since had had not heard anything. We were informed the rooms were ready and we could now check in. The rooms were fairly nice with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired.

With my job I travel-weeks at once city, months in another, and so on. When I see Dallas on my work itinerary, I let out a sigh of relief. Because I know that the Dallas-Irvin Homewood Suites is it my near future. Staying here is more like returning home to my house between business trips then returning home to my house is between business trips. It is all the amenities, the quiet atmosphere that is somehow nestled in middle of a major city but most of all the staff especially the night staff at Homewood Suites

My room was more than spacious and quiet. The bed was so soft I melted into it. It was very clean and the breakfast was begging to be eaten. I've only once had better accommodations.

Very comfortable and convenient. The free hot breakfast and evening happy hour socials really make a difference. I will stay here on my next trip and recommend this hotel to others.

The location is beautiful and very well kept. We stayed in a room with a bedroom, living room area, and kitchen. The kitchen was for the most part stocked. We were missing the dish soap and sponge but I'm sure had we ask for some they would have given us some.

Rooms are in several buildings around the main office building. The rooms are a bit outdated; however, the hotel is remodeling and upgrading rooms. The staff is friendly, and I felt welcomed. Rooms have a nice kitchen area and separate bedroom. The fitness room is a joke, and there is no workout area (only a couple of cardio machines).
