It was being remodeled the last 4 times we visited. We usually love staying here; however, the last time we stayed, I found blood on the comforter. I called the front desk to ask for a new one and was told housekeeping was gone. A security guard brought me a less-than-fresh smelling blanket. I was really disappointed.

This hotel is one of my favorite to stay at when in Addison. It's a great hotel really nice on the inside and newly renovated. Thry have one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. They have some great salsa and the waiters are really nice. Make sure you eat in the breakfast area the Concierge lounge breakfast is trash compared to the full breakfast. I think they should just offer the main breakfast for status members.

I really like the location and amenities this hotel has to offer. I stayed in a premium suite and the size was perfect. My first room, however, had no ac.. Nor did it have any working plugs in view (the only ones that worked were behind furniture and already had things plugged in). We were quickly changed to a new room with ac! Only problem was There were still no working plugs! Our room ended up being littered with extension cords. We made it work, and when we got it all set up it was fine, but.. very unnecessary.

I would like to give Cristina 10 stars!! The customer service that I was given in setting up reservations was beyond amazing!! Cristina went above and beyond to help me make reservations for a staff member who is coming to Dallas. She helped to get the room charges taken care of, secure everything with credit cards and all via phone or email! She even realized that there should be a group discount available! She is amazing!! Thank you Cristina!!

Company sales meeting for 3 days excellent service the food was amazing. Rooms are very clean very tidy all of our staff was very impressed with the venue and the meeting room. We had very limited time to pull this meeting together and the Doubletree bent over backwards to help us make it happen Hi-5 to DoubleTree

The hotel was being remodeled during our stay. The main area on the ground floor was roped off. Construction crews worked their loud machinery from early morning till late at night. Luckily for us, our room was on the 7th floor and we couldn't hear a thing. Our stay also included a catered breakfast, lunch and dinner; presentation was good, but taste not so great.

Construction is slight annoying. The rooms are sweet! Remodeled and luxurious enough to make me feel cozy. Starbucks accurately makes drinks too. Didn't eat breakfast or order room service. Doors into room are narrow and no exhaust fan in bathroom. Toilet also flushes poorly, but to be expected with an older establishment

They are under renovation, was on a floor being renovated. Was told to expect banging early. The room I had was poor at best. Half the lamps didn't work because they were too far away from the outlets. Couldn't plug the computer in at the desk because no plug! Carpet was sticky in places. I paid DoubleTree prices for this? I'm a Hilton member who won't be back. Moved to the Embassy for the remainder of my stay. Much better.

The rooms are worn, but clean. It takes us 4-5 tries to open the room door since the handle or latch sticks. There is peling wallpaper and the bathroom is showing age. The hotel is under construction, but not sure if they are renovating the aging rooms or just the lobby. The other concern is that the staff gave away my room and upon check in gave me a room with two queen beds instead of a king bed. Not a big deal, but i should get the room I paid.

I was pretty happy with the entire experience. The only real complaint I would have is that the coffee maker didn't work properly. Besides that, the floor I was in was being worked on during the day which was no easy, but that can't be avoided when you have renovations going on. All the things being said I was pretty happy.

Double Tree is a very nice place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is close to everything, and the staff are very polite. My stay was short (2 nights), but I feel I made the right choice. It's relaxing and quiet I never heard a single neighbor while I stayed. They also had nice, big T.V.s and a bar in the lobby for those times when you need a drink after a long, hard day of work. They also offer breakfast in the morning (although I never took part.)

Wonderful place to stay away from the traffic of Dallas. excellent dining nearby, sites of Dallas (6th floor depository, Bush 43 library within 15 minutes. Located in a very nice suburb. Beautiful setting with outdoor walking track. Room was spacious and lovely. Parking and breakfast are included. Fitness Center is state of the art! Would recommend to go early for a class and sign up on the waiting list for guests of the hotel at THEIR front desk. The facilities are spacious and accommodating however, do not take for granted that you will be admitted to a class as a hotel guest. This is a community base fitness center. Definitely would return!
