Homewood has good A/C and celling fan. Make it cool at night and comfortable to sleep. However, carpets need cleaning everywhere including elevators

Everyone was very nice. The hotel felt safe. The bathrooms and doors could use a fresh coat of paint as they were worn and warped. Great location. The 'Covid' breakfast was fine..yogurt, cereal and warmed breakfast sandwiches. Would stay here again for the price.

I showed up extra early and went straight to the coffee bar. Made myself a coffee and two very personable women approached me and asked if they could help me. They asked with the most pleasant tone. Kim and Jana were both great and the towels were extra soft.

The suites were large and very well appointed. The pool was delightful to swim in and the group dining room very attractive. The front desk staff were very courteous.

Two areas to improve on:

1. Make clear the housekeeping policy. If I want daily housekeeping I should ask once and get it daily. I had to ask each day and the first day (June 5 am), they didn't make up the room. If the hotel is perennially short for a time of help, better to tell guests that housekeeping is not available then to promise and not keep it.

2. On June 8th morning, the kitchen help came late leaving it to the front desk agent to take care of her duties plus putting out breakfast. While the breakfast selections are good, on June 8, the sandwiches and the coffee were cold until the kitchen help came in late.

The Homewood Suites Hotel in Overland Park, KS was not up to Marriott standard. The room was dirty, had ants, had marks/dents/holes in the walls. The carpet was dirty. The air handler closet was lined with towels, obviously not checked my the housekeeping staff.

The hotel was noisy and outside trash (dumpster) was picked up at 0545 on Monday morning and lasted for 10 minutes. The pool was under construction or appeared to be. This is a not recommend hotel.

Met some family that were staying here in their room. It seemed like a nice room. The location is in a safe part of town. Could hear a lot of activity through the walls though.

Air conditioning does not work-at 77 degrees returning after a 14 hour work day so set it to 65. This morning it was down to 71 degrees. The sink faucet has to be played with to find the right spot to get hot water. Television cuts out so you only hear half of the words. Reported the issue with TV so it was fixed one day and back to the same problem the next day. Tried calling front desk about the air but they said call back cause they were busy. Thank his for ceiling fan cause too tied after very intense work schedule.

For all the people complaining that it's a old hotel and out dated well your in luck. This Hotel is under renovation and you guys will be very surprised when you see the new look. Yes we are a old hotel but The staff and I do a good job of keeping it maintained for our amazing guest who stay with us for either one night or several nights. If you stay with us at this hotel you will be treated with the most amazing service no other hotel can offer.
Come stay with us soon.
Renovations are expected to be done by November but don't get your hopes up! We will continue to serve our guest and keep this hotel one of the best in the Overland Park area.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was large, clean and I felt safe staying alone. Loved the evening reception which included wine and food. I will for sure stay her again when in town.

Room was older but still nice. Staff was friendly on check in but only got one bottle of water. Rooms are always huge at Homewoods. The iron was probably the best I've used at a hotel. Hot water took a while to heat up.

Dated, disorganized and kind of dirty We stayed here for 2 weeks - the room was decent, but there were some serious issues with the flooring. Obviously, the dishwasher had flooded previously so there was a huge dip in the floor. We found bottles of tequila in the upper cabinets of the kitchen which was kind of weird. The hotel just never seemed clean and I think that is because it is so dated and worn. Our final straw was when we saw silverfish (insects) in the kitchen. We left the next morning for a different hotel. During our stay, we consistently had to request more towels from the front desk - and there were several times when no one was at the front desk at all. The pool was nice, as well as the breakfasts/dinners. Overall, it was an "okay" experience, but definitely NOT a Hilton experience.

A great Homewood. Staff is fantastic. Probably due for a remodel but the place has been well maintained. The hotel is tucked away so it feels like home but very convenient to Overland Park businesses.

Recently we had the pleasure of staying at the Overland Park, Ks Homewood Suites for 12 days. The experience was beyond any hotel I have ever stayed in the USA or abroad! The staff from the management to the housekeeping personal was the most efficient, friendly, accommodating group of people I have ever experienced! I can't say enough about this hotel. The food, service, and all the employees helped make our stay certainly feel like "home"! A special thank you to Jana, the assistant manager who really went above and beyond to support us in a time of need. Also, kudos to Al, Edison, Anne, Hector, Kim and so many others --- each employee became a smiling friendly face! Don't hesitate to book a stay here! You will not be disappointed! Oh, and the room was great!! Comfy king bed, fireplace, kitchenette, large bathroom, lush towels!!! ;)

Overland Park - Homewood Suites Nestled off College Blvd, close to many restaurants and the interstate Very easy to find. Far enough away from the road/interstate noise Stay was very enjoyable. Front desk personnel was very cordial and professional. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable.

This is a great place for large families!!! They have several suites. They have one that sleeps eight! No more paying for two rooms! The suites have nice little kitchens and it's very home-y. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a hot buffet and very good! No complaints whatsoever! We will stay again
