I stayed here the other night and was very impressed with the room. Everything was clean, the pillows were soft, and the staff was friendly. My only disappointment during our stay was the food we ordered at the cafe/bar in the lobby. We had a pizza ($13) that was cooked in a toaster oven, and was burnt. The bottle of sweet leaf tea our waiter sold us expired September 2017 (~3 months ago). That being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Kansas City area. Might want to give the in-lobby restaurant a skip, though.

Lovely, unique king-size room in a fresh configuration. Several dim lightning options set off the space. Large bathroom space and toilet is not right under the sink; hooray! Super dark room with many pillows on comfortably firm bed. I was very pleased. Breakfast I thought originally was high priced, $9.50 for a Breakfast Scramble, until I saw the amount of food. Just try to finish the bowl of oatmeal at $3.95. So glad this contemporary property is nearby for last-minute needs.

Nice comfortable rooms. Conveniently located off the interstate, and near several restaurants. Onsite Starbucks for coffee and breakfast. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was because our room was located near the lobby and lounge, so it was very noisy with guests hanging out past 11pm. But once we were asleep the room darkening curtains allowed us to ignore any hint the sun was out. We'd stay there again, but we'd request a room away from the lobby.

It was a nice clean new hotel. The beds are very hard and the room was warm. We ac is computer controlled or something like that. The TV has some sort of light sensor. The TV would go from bright to dark often. we did not have a very good stay. We spoke to the front desk about both issues they said it's part of how the hotel is set up.

Got a 70% off deal on this hotel online. Would NEVER pay $149. The room was good with GREAT air conditioning. Nice and quiet. Appreciated the computer room. The only drawback was no breakfast

This hotel was really nice, when we came to check in the lobby was full of people because of a power outage. The front desk clerk (a girl named Melissa) was doing everything she could to keep people happy and taken care of, I was very impressed with her attentiveness. The room I received not only looked nice but smelled good as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.

The hotel was just okay in appearance and comfort. Front desk person took 3 to 4 minutes to even greet us upon arrival. The room was clean. Unfortunately we came on a weekend when there was a storm and the hotel lost all power overnight in excessive heat and it was very warm without air conditioning or lights or TV. Check out his supposed to be at 12 pm. But when I was in the shower at 10 a.m., our door was opened by housekeeping. Likely would not stay here again.

Very nice rooms. Felt relaxed as soon as I walked in.
Very comfortable, very contemporary/stylish furniture.
Was lucky enough to get an upgrade to the suite, thank you for that. Perks of Marriott Rewards, if you aren't signed up, be sure to do so!
The only con I really have is to say they should switch out to LEAD bulbs. For the environment, for better lighting, and for post savings. They could also get some bigger TVs. But e even those two comments weren't enough to stop me from giving them 5 stars.

Room was great. Price was good for the location. Service was wonderful at the front desk at check out. I had a 10 year old with me and she handed the lady the keys to check out. They treated her as the guest and made her feel so special and grown up.

They are so nice and have been so accommodating to me. I work in the area but live 1.5 hrs away and there a snow storm coming in and I couldn't get home to get enough sleep for my next overnight shift. I had called them to explain my situation and even though their check in is at 1500 they found me a room and let me check in early so I could get some sleep for my job. I had another hotel want to charge me extra for an early check in and when I said no and told them nevermind they still charged my card and refuse to refund my money. This place is incredible and extremely nice. I will def stay here again when I need to
