I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed my stay. The lobby has been update and is very contemporary but the rooms were dated and warn. They were doing some construction on my floor which didn't help my perception of the hotel. Breakfast is not complimentary and seems pricey for what you get. Service for the hotel was good.
There are many hotels in this area so the next time I need a place to stay, I'm going to try another hotel.response / report this review -

Nice hotel. Very efficient check in and out. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub but have seen better at other hotels. The pool was very cloudy. Our room was as requested. Did not dine at this hotel. The location was good for access to a lot of places in the area. Parking was free but limited in space.

All in all, this place isn't worth the money. And customer service and satisfaction falls very short.
I stayed at the Hilton for the Veteran's day weekend. I was truly excited to take a four day break away from work and relax. I booked the hotel with the thought process that, although other nearby areas had similar amenities, this one had an indoor pool and I'd get to workout. Thinking of the name, I assumed I was getting a great deal going through third party. But, of course, looks and names can be deceiving. I decided to workout a bit, go upstairs to my room and rinse off. Before doing that, I grabbed water, a fruit juice and a candy bar. When I went to place my candy bar in the freezer, a smell permeated my immediate area. My freezer had mold growing in it. The smell was pretty strong and would have been noticed if someone had opened it to clean it. I decided to inform guest services later and placed the candy next to the drinks in the fridge portion. I headed back downstairs to go for a swim. The water looked okay but I didn't notice a chlorine smell normally associated with pools. Due to the size of the pool, I didn't worry too much. While coming up for air, water got into my mouth. It was horribly salty but not like salt water. Once I looked at the water again, whatever had settled to the bottom was mixed up. The water was very cloudy. I tried rinsing off but couldn't get anything but cold water from the pool-side shower. I, immediately, asked when the pool was supposed to be cleaned. I was informed that it should have been cleaned that morning and that maintenance was gone for the day. It hadn't been cleaned. I had walked around the area, stepping outside, checking availability, etc. I was offered two bottles of water abd told a notation had been placed on my account. I scrubbed and washed all of me to prevent getting ill from the pool. I, then went to get ice in the container I'd been using but, when I looked at the cover for the container, I noticed either colorful dirt, mildew, or mold on it as well. Prior to checking out, I brought all of this up to the personnel at the front desk, showing pictures to verify my claims. I was reassured that I would hear from management the following day. Each time I try to follow up, they've "gone home for the day".
They get a 2/5 (instead of a one) because of the location of the hotel, comfortable bed, channel selection, and available shop.response / report this review -

A nice quiet place near the convention center. The room heater / air conditioners are very noisy and kept me up a good part of the night. There is a no noise policy after 10 p.m. but if you're watching television and the heater comes on, you can't help but crank up the volume. Otherwise a nice day for a reasonable price.

The food and service provided was above and beyond what was expected. This hotel is definitely doing an amazing job at making sure their guests are given a warm and pleasurable experience.

We met the other party in the lobby and did not go any further into the hotel. The lobby was very nice and clean. The staff at the Front Desk was polite and helpful.

Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The flat screen HDTV is fantastic, as are the channel options. Breakfast is very delicious, with options for nearly ever diet, but it is not complimentary. The staff are polite and helpful.

Small rooms, room smelled like a sewage leak when we walked inn. Nothing like advertised. A huge disappointment. We booked for three days, with the hopes of a nice relaxing room. Not any better than a Motel 6 or Comfort inn actually worse. Don't waste your money.

Let's face it, we've all been there we just get off the road from a busy trip, and we find ourselves scurrying around trying to find a comfortable and affordable hotel for a good night's sleep. Look no further than this Hilton Garden Inn at Overland Park, KS. My family and I have stayed here quite a few times when the Overland Park Convention Center next door holds a big convention. We love this hotel and the service is absolutely amazing! The hotel manager here is very friendly and courteous. The employees here truly do treat you like you are "part of their family." It's a wonderful experience! Stop by here when you are looking for an affordable hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a warm and friendly atmosphere! I promise you, you won't regret it!

Hotel was installing new TV equipment duriny our stay. There was s problem with the TV new equipment in our room and I mentioned it to hotel personnel in the hallway on our way out to visit family. We returned to our room 5 hours later (9:30 pm) finding our hotel room door standing open, TV pulled out from the wall and no one to be found. We to complain to the front desk and they didn't feel it was a big deal. Thank goodness my iPad and laptop was still in the room when we got there.

This place is amazing! Everyone was so nice. The rooms had everything you need. The beds were comfy and my son loved the pool! They have room service with great choices and had a kids menu. It's centrally located and it was nice to be able to order pizza and have it delivered right to our door. My son was being seen at a hospital close by and because of that we were given a good discount.very happy mama and will be visiting again!!

Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Our only complaint is the toilet tissue they are currently using. We've stayed here several times over the past few years & this was a bit of a surprise (to say the least). It was very low grade, rough texture that I would expect to find in a highway rest stop. Not joking, the porta-potty at the event we attended had better TP. Simply not the quality we have known in the past.

We always enjoy our stay at this hotwl5. The staff is nice and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. My only complaint about this visit is that they have switched to an extremely cheap rough toliet paper. I know this may seem minor but it's little things like this that can make your stay good or not.
