Nice clean room and bathroom. Good free WiFi. Good tv. Nice to have a mini-fridge.
Oct. 2016 first time here: The hotel has a big free parking what is checked by CCTV. The location is very good, next to shopping centers, pharmacy, fast food restaurants. The Universal Studios and the Walk of Fame is about 10 min from there. Clean, big room, helpful staff. The check out day they gave us a libra to control our luggages before check in LAX. Continental breakfast is in the price.
Dec. 2017 second time here: Compared to last year we were disappointed: smaller rooms, dirty bathrooms, staff were not prepared (have a libra or not), and they were not too nice to all of them. The wifi is very weak. Next to the hotel is the White Horse bar in the same building where every day until 2 o'clock, drunken and drugged young people were lounging on the street, sometimes in the small street behind the hotel, which fell into the room. The corridor of the hotel smells like marijuana everywhere. Now we have found it noisy, dirty, and lazy. We will not return here to the third time. I hope we can find better.
Overpriced, noisy due to bar built under the hotel and busy street. Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs due to elevator not working. Hasn't been painted in a long time and when I went to open the door to leave my room, I took the whole frame off the wall. Took a while to find a working wall outlet. Had to walk past a sleeping homeless man to get in the hotel. Was happy to only be there for 1 night.Did have basic free breakfast..
It's a decent motel. Room is clean. Bathroom and room are small. Their breakfast is not very good.
So many things happened here it’s ridiculous. I want a refund ASAP.
-TV disconnected 4 times, we asked the desk clerk. He was too busy texting to attend our tv setup.
-Bathroom Clogged
-Housekeeping skipped our room and didn’t clean it or changed the linens
-The halls reaked of Marijuana
-Elevator broke on me 2x and I had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor.
-Not to mention the final night, a couple was banging on the door for the room across us at 12am to open the door. Apparently there were children inside, with the locks. The woman was banging and screaming. We called the front desk, just to get the response “Don’t open the door, their are children alone inside.” That’s it. The gentleman had a key but wanted to bust the door down.
Decent hotel, little run down. Close to the best tourist type stuff.
hotel room is decent. the area is ghetto/dirty. i was shocked when i first arrived there. but it is close to metro. one of the employees is sketchy and tried overcharging me for whatever reason i think it's overpriced but you do get a mini fridge and tv ( i don't watch tv).
Large room, comfortable beds, beautiful view, clean bathroom, and parking. I would have rated it a 5 but the bar next door stays open til 2 on a Sunday night
We stayed in this hotel about a year ago.my daughter and I experienced paranormal activity here. I felt it and my daughter saw it. I believe the Room # was 315 right when the elevator door opens the room is across. It was the most scariest thing I've ever felt..I stayed because I didn't want to freak my family out. But I just couldn't wait for morning to get the hell out!
I check once an awhile to see if anyone has posted something similar to my account, in this creepy hotel😱
Nice hotel has everything you need close to public transport, close to Hollywood walk of fame, universal studios, and downtown. Staff is friendly hotel is clean the rooms are neat, close to shops. love the breakfast that is provided overall not a bad place to stay.
Place is a decent place to stay for the price, neighborhood is a bit sketchy. I found two roaches in the stairwell (4th floor), not in the roomhopefully. I saw the roaches at 3pm, when I returned at 9pm they were still there, that tells you how often the place get cleaned.
For visitors on a budget, this is a good option. The breakfast is not great, but overall the hotel is fine. The best thing I think is the location. It is very close to the Chinese Theather and Hollywood Boulevard.
It's fairly cheap and in a great location. The rooms are old and basic, but nice.
Beds are nice. Bathroom needs some work. Overall, good place and it's pretty close to Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The hotel has a big free parking what is checked by CCTV. The location is very good, next to shopping centers, pharmacy, fast food restaurants. The Universal Studios and the Walk of Fame is about 10 min from there. Clean, big room, helpful staff. The check out day they gave us a balance to control our luggages before check in LAX. Continental breakfast is in the price. We loved! Recommend it!
