This was a nice place to stay with a small bar and a restaurant. Didn't get to the bar but the restaurant food was good. The rooms were clean and the service was great and everyone was very friendly. There is a pool with a hot tub and a mechanism to lower handicapped persons into the hot tub. Price was fair for the room and I would definetly stay here again.

For the price I can’t complain one bit. We paid extra for a “suite” and come to find out there r no doors for privacy. The bathroom door also doesn’t work and the blinds have tape on them strange. The staff are friendly and even gave my children coloring pages and crayons. The little things mean a lot. We used the pool and hot tub which were both really clean and heated! I would def stay here again.

Being a holiday Inn I think this was the most disappointing one that I stayed in. While it may be modernized inside it lacked and everything else. The TV was shoddy at best. It kept losing the video connection. The toilet did not always flush. This shower did not always turn on. The hallway was dimly lit. The elevator and it's panel look like I could take it apart and start messing with it. The railing on the pool steps was loose and wobbly. It is one building only and it's right next to the highway. Most importantly I think is the curtains that will not cover the windows. So you get the nightlights out the window all night long. I really was not impressed.

Everyone from the housemaids to the clerk, the bartender and the morning waitress we're very nice and greeting. The rooms were very clean. They do have a bar that stays open till 10pm and a breakfast and dinner open kitchen. There's a Mexican restaurant we enjoyed across the street. And a small convenient store we're we bought beers that's walking distance. I would definitely come again if I ever come to visit this area of Glendale. Only reason I took a star off is because the bathrooms do not have an actual door it's a sliding door like for a closet. That was a bit uncomfortable when having to use the restroom.

The front desk gal is doing a great job. The bar was good. The Steak salad was different but delicious. The place just seems a bit runner down. Caulking in the common areas and in my restroom are pulling away from the fixtures. The elevator is terrible looking from past clients. My room looks like someone had fun trying to trash the place but the cleaning staff did what they could to at least make it presentable. I know I signed an agreement about NO smoking in the room. But I could smell reefer as I walked to the elevator. Sorry Holiday Inn for some of your clients behavior it's just hurts the rest of us. I really don't have any ideas on how to curb the behavior in this situation. Other than bringing back the blacklist of clients

Elevator area 3rd floor smells bad. Checkout 5am clerk asleep so just left keys on counter. Room clean comfortable.

Slow draining shower, no curtain in shower, wifi signal terrible. Plenty of spacious parking, good air conditioning, lots of channels on the TV.

Great price and very clean. Only a few minor issues that could be addressed. We arrived at about 3am, and the hotel reception started that the night audit was running, so we'd have to wait ten minutes to check in. In ten minutes time, after unloading and parking the car, she was ready. We had already called in our reservation. On the phone, making the reservation, I was told $4 extra for 2 adults for the breakfast, kids 12 and under were free. When we checked in, we were given five coupons. I thought maybe they charged me extra, but this was not the case.

The breakfast was awesome. Real items, real restaurant, real wait staff. They were very friendly, and we all loved the food we ordered. I had a tailor-made omelette.

    I highly recommend this place.

This place is TOP NOTCH across the board. The staff is friendly and engaging and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is up to snuff. Built in bar and restaurant make this hotel an all in one place for an overnight stay or a weekend getaway!! Thank you Larisa and Tammy for making our stay a great one!

About 14 miles North of the PHX Airport. Depending on what day of the week you are heading there it could take longer than our 20 minute drive to return rental car. We drove to airport on a Sunday with light traffic. Breakfast is not automatically included in room rate you must ask for it when making reservation or it is $10 per person. The Sunday Buffet had a nice selection of hot or cold food items. The rooms were nice and clean but had paper thin walls. I could hear the TV on one side and on the other someone sneeze.

The first thing I'll say is that every staff member I interacted with was wonderful and eager to make my visit pleasant, until my interaction with the Operations Manager.

This man was rude, condescending and used his power of authority in the most negative way possible. I feel for the staff who have to listen to him and follow his direction.

Negativity flows like wildfire and that man exudes negativity. How he feels he can motivate staff with his "holier than thou" way is just impossible to comprehend. Negative breeds negative.

For an establishment that is hospitality based it would serve you well to get that man some customer service training. I think he forgot where he came from. He is missing greatly in how to treat the very people (customers) who pay his salary.

I will further say a male should never follow a woman alone into a dark parking lot. He did this to better prove his point of why he was right and I was not. Again, an amazing example of how not to be.

So, it does not bother me that we were made to leave, except he felt it validated his behavior. He knows he was wrong, but his fragile ego will not let him admit it.

To the ownersif that man treats your staff the same, then your business will fail.

If I could give negative Stars I would. My Husband, Mother and I stayed in this hotel last night. This Morning my Mother went down to the lobby asking if they had a bagel or muffin that she could grab restaurant knowing it was closed as it was too early. The woman at the front desk told her that she could go into the restaurant and ask if they could accommodate her. She walked into the restaurant and the OPERATIONS MANAGER, Dave Perkins, was meeting with some of the staff in there and told her the restaurant was closed before she could even say a word. She replied to him by saying, I just had a quick question and he proceeded to tell her the restaurant was closed. She told him he was rude and walked away. He asked her what her question was and she then responded with "never mind I don't have a question". He made a comment about her to his staff that she was able to hear and she told him not to make her his example. She walked out to her vehichle and then he followed her out there. She was almost in tears at this point and she told him that he needed to get away from her. Mr. Perkins decided to interpret this as a threat and I received a phone call late this morning asking me to come get our things as we were now being forced to leave. I've made a formal complaint, but, since this is a franchise, I was told by customer relations that there's nothing they can do.

I spoke to Mr. Perkins myself and couldn't even hold an adult conversation with him. He's insanely egotistical and has no grasp of customer service.

I STRONGLY recommend that you do not stay here. This place needs a new Manger or its going good to fall apart.

So far so good it's like home compared to another stay we had at a different hotel I was walking through the hall with my daughter and the general manager stopped to welcome us to the hotel and let him know if we needed anything. I have never experienced that did than you holiday Inn for making us feel welcomed.
