The place does not look very clean, the transition from carpet to tile just showed a ragged edge of carpet, no cover strip. Management is not very friendly. They falsely advertise as pet friendly, but upon check-in they made it abundantly clear that no pets were welcome. I think this might be because they have their own "pets" - we were just there this last weekend and found a live BED BUG on the sheet. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night, because I refuse to sleep with bed bugs. And they will not refund my money or return my calls, or even answer my phone calls now. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
This place had a great value if you're looking for a five star accommodation this isn't the place but you're also not paying for those type of accommodations same here felt like staying somewhere for free thank you for the free day.
The first room we received when we walked in the bathroom toilet detach laying on the floor. Went to go get a different room and that room, the air conditioner didn't work and looks like it was from the 1960s. The third room we received was not much better. The air conditioner worked but there was a big stain on the couch, garbage under the bed, hair all over the bathroom floor, stained bathtub floor, so dirty it was hard to feel clean when showering when we did actually have water to the room. Everyday the water was turned off to our room due to the entire first floor being under construction. We were unable to brush our teeth wash our hands or shower anytime during daytime hours.
Don’t Stay here! The room was filthy, pubic hair left in and around bath tub. Dirty hand prints on all furniture and walls. Vomit running down walls next to trash can. Sat on bed and horrible smell of cat urine coming from sheets and bedding. Comfort inn and Residence inn across Bell Rd. much better for $20 more a night. Worth it to me to not sleep in cat pee!
Room 123 was in extreme disrepair - carpet stained and pulled up in corners, drawers and shelves broken, shower did not drain well, mold in corners, holes in walls repaired with duct tape, top of nightstand was taped together. In addition there were pizza boxes from previous guests left in drawers, dirt and trash in corners of room and bathroom, and no bath towels were provided in room. The good news was that the bedding appeared to be clean. When I mentioned the issues to the front desk I got the distinct impression that they had heard these complaints before and could not make things better. Given the low price I wasn't expecting much, but this experience was truely depressing.
Nice room, only issue was room service. Never showed up with towels. We had to fetch our own.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
For a $221 stay for four nights, my card was charged $107. My friend's card [who we actually were paying for the room with] was charged one payment of $214, one of $107, one of $56, and one of $160. The entire time we stayed, I fought these charges and nothing was returned. I've contacted their customer service line and he has disputed his charges with his crediting agency. The police may have to get involved at this point, even.
They will try and steal your money. It's not worth it. Find a Motel 6 or a Super 8.
From the time we arrived all of the staff has been EXCELLENT!! The rooms are very comfortable and the AC works great. The pool is amazing and everyone including the management is very punctual and polite. I highly recommend this hotel. We have had nightmare's at other hotels and everyone has tried to make up for other hotels downfalls to make sure we are comfortable and enjoy our stay. Thumbs way up and thank you. Chris
Upon checking in and going to my room I noticed teeth storage room door lock was missing, in the parking lot are roll off container like they are doing a remodel, but the worst of everything was when I opened the door to my king room and it looked like someone had just crawled out of bed and left the room. Trash was still in the room. Then they also charge $50 upfront for incidentals. I assume because their cliental looks like they cater to drug addicts. I would expect better of a hotel in the arrowhead area. Then my bank states they have not received any proof of a refund of funds release. So I may have to contact BBB to get assistance in my refund. My recommendation find another place to stay.
Stayed in late January-early February of 2017, and woke to find I had bed bug bites. I gave them every opportunity to make it right by first talking with hotel manager upon checkout, where I was told they would look into it and contact me. They never did.
I then contacted Ramada corporate, and was told the owner was made aware of the situation, as this is a franchise-owned property, and he would be reaching out to me. That never happened either.
The location is nice, but it is a poorly run property that does not care for their guests.
DO NOT NOT STAY HERE. The room had 2 live wires hanging from the ceiling instead of a light fixture. No garbage can in the room at all. I went to the front desk, demanding a room change. The clerk didn't care at all. The next room was even worse, bulbs in the desk lamp unscrewed. A 6 slot globe bulb for the mirror area, 3 slots had no bulbs, one burned out, 2 worked. A/C unit sounded like it was dying, left control was gone. Bathroom heater in the ceilings timer was removed. ANOTHER disgusting room. I was late for a dinner appointment, and asked to change later that night, but they insisted that I switch rooms immediately, as they were going to give it to someone else. UGHHH. I asked how they can put anyone in that room, but no response. The 3rd room had 2 burned out bulbs, I left a note for the maid to replace them, but they were not. They left me a dirty cup, used soap, didn't make the bed. A dragonfly flew in the light while I was working at night as well. Microwave old fashioned with a dial, was not even plugged in. HOW CAN THEY LEAVE ROOMS LIKE THAT ??? TOTALLY DISGUSTING. 2 different desk clerks clearly did not care. I called corporate office and am waiting for a response. Sleeping in the car would have been better.
This place is horrible. It should not be open for business. It is obviously planned for a renovation. Do not stay their until it is re-modeled. Besides the fact that facilities are bad, the staff and management are not engaged at all. Stayed two nights and did not get the rooms cleaned in between our stay. Inquired at the front desk and the response was the staff have all clocked out for the day. This place is a rip off.
It was our first stay in Houston and loved the Embassy Suites. Rooms are huge and clean. The staff was great. The best was the breakfast and the cook to order omelettes. Excellent value overall.
