Very nice staff that are attentive and understanding. The water slide and pool are great for kids and are a nice end to a busy day. The breakfast is a good size with plenty of options for every eater. The hotel observes a quiet time starting at 10pm, and I didn't feel disturbed by other guests in the hotel. Close to the airport and right next to Trax, making it convenient to hop on and go to Temple Square. Very pleased with my experience here.

Such a great place to stay especially if you have kids. Indoor water park and slide. Arcade and concession stand and spacious rooms to stay in after a great show at the Maverick Center.

Booked my room online at Holiday Inn and was overcharged at the hotel. The manager did not respond to my email or call and charged me without resolving the issue. If this happens to you--call their 1-800 support line. They are completely helpful. Staff and manager are difficult to work with.

Also, the pool is poorly ventilated and very dirty. While sitting beside the pool, our eyes burned. We later learned this happens when chlorine attaches to human sweat, urine, and other lovely things. Would rather stay at a hotel with a normal pool than this overcrowded, dirty, and poorly ventilated one. Line for the slide gets super long. Kids didn't want to go back to the pool.

The Holiday Inn in West Valley was great. Parking was limited the first night due to an event at the Maverick Center but I was able to park within the hotel lot pretty quickly. My room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I disliked was that breakfast didn't start until 6:30. I'm used to breakfast starting at 5. This was difficult for me because I had to leave before breakfast to make it to my work meeting. Overall great stay.

Wish I had brought my swimsuit so I could have gone down the waterside. Comfy and clean rooms.. super friendly staff. Will definitely stay again in my business trips to Salt Lake.

The room was clean. We did have an issue with the air conditioner that they tried to fix but after another hour in an uncomfortably hot and stuffy room they were able to move us to another room. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The pool and waterslide is really fun for the kids. The ventilation system in the pool area was broken. We were informed by a note on the door to the pool area that the ventilation was broken and to swim at our own risk and we did but after a while the kids started coughing and feeling sick. It was unfortunate because the pool and waterside was why we chose to come here in the first place. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of options. Overall our stay was not as awesome as I had hoped it would be but if the ventilation system and water park was what it could be then I would consider staying again.

This is a fantastic hotel if you are looking for something for the family. The rooms were more than adequate for the 6 members of our family. Everything seemed to have been recently updated (new carpet, new linens, etc.) The breakfast wasn't just a continental breakfast bagel but a full spread, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, juice and on and on. The indoor pool and play area were a blast, the perfect amenity for our stay cation on a cold winter day. The staff were all professional and attentive to any request you may have. Ultimately it's a bit tricky to get to but that's what GPS is for. Altogether we had no complaints and plan on returning again.

I absolutely have nothing bad to say about this hotel it was fantastic. Matter fact we liked it so much we stayed an extra day. The buffet breakfast was wonderful had everything my children wanted. Beds were comfortable and clean. And the pool area was fantastic for my children and both nights that we were there they were the only ones in the pool. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
