Beautiful location and beautiful event. It has a rustic charm that was a perfect fit for the semi-outdoor wedding I attended, but the rooms were under construction so equipment was left everywhere and the lights were not working in the upstairs hallway. But it was off season and the event was mostly held downstairs, so it wasn't a big deal. The kitchen is not in good condition, with uneven floors, a lack of running water at some stations and dust covered everything. Hopefully they will remodel that next? Overall a very positive experience, but the few negatives really stuck out, though none were a deal-breaker. The location of the place itself made it worth it!

I attended for a wedding and it was beautiful. Beautiful views outside. Inside was rustic but nice. It was a fun night!

Cabin-style accommodation. Timber decor. Shared bathroom. Small bed rooms. Lots of communal spaces around the fire and tv. Wireless internet reception only near reception. Shared table for dinner. All meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks/tea/coffee. Breakfast/lunch buffet, and they were great. Dinner menu changes every day, interesting dishes, but generally too sweet on my tongue. Note: Dinner reservation is required and is taken as you enter the dining for breakfast; queue early to get your desired time slot. Limited parking. Free shuttle to Snowbird.

I attended a wedding here. The wedding was outside and the view was beautiful. There was dancing and dinner inside but it was a little cramped for the amount of people. There wasn't enough seating in the sitting area. Overall it was a fun time and the views and experience of being in the mountains was worth it.

Great food, hot tub pool and sauna in the winter, close enough to walk to lifts, and shuttle also available, can ski in for lunch and dinner. Great place to meet other Alta skiers. Do it for the fun atmosphere and the experience. Dinners are communal- sort of- tables of 8-12 - don't forget to get a reservation or you'll eat late.

Great bar with live music on some nights. Fun place to grab a drink after skiing.

The Alta Peruvian is a diamond in the rough. It's rustic feel is a throwback to an earlier in the ski resort world. They offer incredible service though, and their staff is top notch, and professional. I'd recommend the Peruvian if you're looking for a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else, and won't forget any time soon.

Friendly people, but very pricey. The coffee could be better, and the rooms are hyper-dry. Bring a humidifier - they don't have any to lend to guests. Not a lot of women stay there, either. (I guess 80/20).

The communal dining is what you'd expect - hit-or-miss, depending on who you happen to get seated next to.

    The bar upstairs is great.

The lodge is great for an apre-ski drink, but be ready for a large crowd in a small space! Bartenders helpful and know how to pour.
