Awesome service, very clean, great hot breakfast. We have never splurged for a decent hotel and we're definitely worried about the value equation. We are very frugal and and don't fully believe it was worth the price tag, but it was a great experience, definitely the best we have ever had anywhere. We only use hotels 1-4 times a year over the past 15 years, but this was definitely the best by far.
Super friendly staff, clean and comfortable bed/rooms. Be warned the most of the 3rd floor rooms are under the dining room/kitchen on the 4th floor. You will be woken to people stumping overhead starting 6:30am! That's the only negative. But the free full breakfast made up for it.
Location is ok, terrible traffic in this area. Easy to walk around though. The room was cozy and clean. Free breakfast was great. The pool looked amazing but didn't get to use it.
I called the hotel to see if it was okay to ship a package to myself and pick it up when I checked in. Frank at the front desk told me yes. It was okay as long as I have “Guest” and my name on the box. Between me shipping the box and me checking in, the hotel decided to change their policy to not accept any packages from guests. They never implemented a plan to deal with customers that ALREADY shipped their packages before the rule change nor did they even bother to call me to let me know. They rejected my box and before I even knew it, the box was on its way back to Colorado, while I was on my way to Los Angeles for a work trip. At the VERY LEAST before rejecting the package they should have called me to let me know. I was without my marketing materials and tradeshow items for a work trip because the hotel failed to properly implement a new policy change. It just so happens the day after they rejected my package, the hotel decided to accept packages for a week for those customers who already had packages in transit. When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by Maria L. After telling Maria L. my experience, she was very rude and threw attitude at me. I asked her for her last name and she asked why. I told her so that I can complain to upper management and her response was “Goodluck, with that honey”. If Maria L. can’t handle these types of situations without her attitude checked at the door, she shouldn’t be working the front desk. Corey, the general manager, on the other hand, was wonderful. He understood the mistake right away (especially since they started accepting packages again) and comped one of my nights. Thank you, Corey. I respect the policy change. I did not respect how the policy change was implemented.
Nice hotel with affordable parking fees and very close to the Hollywood Boulevard. Breakfast room is a little bit crowded but the waitresses are very friendly and efficient. We love the pancake machine
Shady $30 parking fee, they don’t disclose this at check in only when you see your bill the next day. Staff was rude when asked about the fee and the WiFi does not work.
There were no blinds on the window so room doesn’t get dark would recommend another hotel if able. I guess most people do t drive and majority of guests are foot traffic because I was unable to see the parking fee sign when I pulled my truck in. Lol
Two blocks away from everything. Very nice to be so close and get a decent price when I Hotel. Cell service was almost none in my room. The room was clean in the bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again hoping the other rooms got better service.
Very nice location near Hollywood Boulevard. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Good staff. Marieta, who is in charge of breakfast is polite, friendly and she and her staff keep the breakfast area clean.
Also one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The people there are very nice. Provide good food for breakfast. Though the wifi is the fastest in the first floor
The room was clean and everything was fine just basic mostly. Comfy bed. When we first got there the tv remote needed new batteries and I had to call about it 3 times but other than that it was good service. I personally don't like valet parking but you have no choice here. unfortunately the bed was a little too comfy because we slept past breakfast so I can't say anything about it but I do like that they offer it. our room was basically right next to and down from the pool and the walls are pretty thin so we woke up from a lot of noise coming from what sounded like the pool area. (which turned out to be helpful as we forgot to set an alarm to be up before check out time lol). basically if you just need a place to sleep it's perfect for that.
It was a great place! Parking was a bit awkward but the location is great. A few blocks down from the Dolby Theatre and some shops, too! The room had 2 queen beds, a fan, a TV, one desk with a slide out panel, and a safe. The carpet in our room did have a strange, small lump under it. Other than that, the place was amazing! If you forgot your toothbrush or something, they can supply it for you.
Hotel was nice. Reason for only 3 stars was not the hotel itself but the area it was in, otherwise would be a 4. Hotel did have a very convenient free shuttle (4 mile radius from hotel) which took us to the Broad, an outstanding art museum. No worries with finding or paying for parking.
The front desk was helpful and friendly and provided directions for us to follow. The room was clean, there was no bathtub, but the shower was amazing! !!! The breakfast had fresh fruit, a really cool pancake maker I wish I had at home, milk and cereal, eggs and bacon (bacon was not very good), biscuits and gravy, and bagles and muffins.
Both receptionists we dealt with were polite, professional and helpful which is always a good start! Bedroom was very big as was the bathroom. Great location! Excellent breakfast, but not enough tables and chairs. Lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was poor. Definitely recommend the hotel though!
