This hotel was excellent. They kept everything very clean. I saw workers constantly cleaning. We loved our room! We were an elderly couple and they put us on the top floor at the end. Very very quiet. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was so sweet, kind, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were clean. Even though it is in Hollywood, the hotel itself was quiet. (I had stayed in Miami Beach NOT at a Motel 6 but the rooms were loud and noisy and drugs and drinking were happening next door. Despite reports to security in that instance, they told us they did not want to upset the partiers because they made them their money.) So, that, of course, was another name brand hotel in Miami Beach Florida. I was hesitant to try Motel 6 because maybe we would have noise and drinking. I must say it was run so well, and everyone, from the parking attendants, the maids, the staff behind the desk. Everyone was just wonderful. I will certainly use Motel 6 again. Thank you for a great stay. We had two rooms. Other rooms were rented by friends also for an event in town and the feedback I got was very positive.

Just returned home from this motel after a great 9 nights stay. Read the previous comments before we went and were slightly concerned however we were pleasantly surprised to say the least. We were made very welcome on our arrival by reception staff and totally amazed with our room. The beds were huge and very comfortable, the cleanliness of the room was of a very high standard with plenty of clean towels. The rooms were also tidied every day and beds made to a 5 star level. Only a couple of minor faults being the air con was slightly noisy, the lift shook sometimes which could be checked and repaired and unortunatlely has no pool as other M6 motels do have. Would most definitely recommend to friends. Well done

Great stay at the Hollywood Motel 6. Awesome location, and the room was clean and comfortable (where have i heard that before?). Only major complaint was the smell of the cleaning products the staff uses. I guess it's a chain-wide thing, but you should be able to buy a cleaner that's just as cost-effective but doesn't smell so institutional(?). Also, the linoleum floors in the rooms and hallways really carry the noise, but I assume you guys already know that, given all of the "quiet please" signs around the motel.

Last minute trip to Los Angeles and the price was right. At first glance the rooms were okay. Although I have to say the pillows are HORRIBLE. I was there 2 nights and my neck hurt so much. Sleeping on a bag of potatoes would have been more comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, although the floors throughout were not clean. I had to wear socks the entire time otherwise I felt dirty. The noise level is quite high and this may be due in part to the doors not having a tight seal when closed. It is a bare bones hotel and you get what you pay for I suppose I do think a bit more focus could be used in training the janitorial staff in how to better clean a room - as in use a mop!! The front desk people were polite and accommodating

We stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night. We knew not to expect much, as far as frills and benefits, and just needed basic accommodation for a place to sleep. The front desk staff were very helpful in getting us information about the area, restaurants, and quickly getting us extra pillows and towels. However, we were pretty disappointed in the mattresses (much too firm, even for an inexpensive hotel), pillows (oddly small, extremely lumpy and stiff), and cleanliness (the hardwood floors were quite dirty, and I think they may need an exterminator as we saw a few silverfish). The linens seemed clean enough which was good, but there are improvements that could be made to give a better experience even though they're in a lower price point.

If you're on a budget trip and can live with noise, cigarette and weed smoke, don't mind the deafening AC units or the hallways that feel like carpeted cardboard ready to give at any moment then you won't have a problem staying at this fine establishment.
Bring your own shampoo/conditioner. The hotel may provide it if you ask, but I'm not sure.
    Great location!

I had a great experience staying at motel 6 located in Hollywood. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was walking distance to the Hollywood walk of fame in just a minute walk. It was close to our destination. I do recommend you reserve your parking pass for $12 because it gets really crowded around there.

Look, if I could give it 6 stars I would! This summer, I stayed in hotels in 7 states and 2 foreign countries, and this is the best hotel I've stayed at. I feel bad for the other 5-star reviews I've given. Seriously.

Well, they make you pay for parking, and the parking structure is cramped, even for LA, but even with the extra charge, it's still the cheapest stay in the city ESPECIALLY if you consider the location. It is a legit half-block from Hollywood Boulevard! I walked out the door, turned left, took 30 steps and I was standing on Bob Hope's star on the Walk of Fame. All the shops, Hollywood and Vine, tourist traps, all a walk away. For price an location alone, I defy you to find a better place in the city limits.

As for the hotel itself: the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The shower was great, the staff and service was A-1, and, to be so close to Hollywood Blvd., the place was as quiet and safe as a suburban B&B. There was and on-site coin laundry, which I used, and it worked great. They had interesting (if overpriced) food and soft drinks in their small lounge area. Everything was clean and modern. The maid service even folded my towels into the shape of a heart (or two swans kissing, I guess, I had a double room).

Honestly, don't let the name "Motel 6" fool you. This is an exceptional place to stay. There are no papers at the door or mints on your pillow, but, for the price and location alone, you will not find a better place. I'd stake anything on that.

I apologize, I would not ever stay at this location again. Motel 6 is my go to Motel when I go out of town and I am always satisfied. But this one was AWFUL! From the beginning when I called and spoke to one of the workers (Vivian) her tone of voice was very rude. I asked about the parking since I read previous reviews that parking was on first come for serve. Vivian answered the phone and informed me I had to call the morning of the day I was checking in. The next day (check in day) I called, once again I spoke to Vivian. I asked about parking and immediately she told me it was sold out. I informed her that she was the one who told me to call a certain time to request this. Miraculously she put a parking spot on hold for me. She asked for my first name but did not bother to ask my last. I found it very odd that she did not ask for my full name since I knew I was not the only customer checking in that day. I called back for reassurance and once again Vivian answered I told her I just called about parking. Immediately right after I said that she let out a loud sigh as if I was annoying her. I said to her I know that I won't be the only guest checking in that day and she said there was going to be plenty. That is when I asked wouldn't you like to have my full name? Me working as a Government official you would think her priority would be great customer service over the telephone, since you can not see customer face to face. Training in Customer Service would be very beneficial for her because with her attitude losing customers would happen versus gaining.
Then when I get to front desk to check in both clerks are doing nothing and just talking with one another. Neither one greeted me nor did they say, "Hi, can I help you?" I had to say, "Hi, whom should I go to, to check in?" This was not acceptable at all. Coming from a long drive to get here I would expect welcoming voices and customer service.
Lastly I purchased parking for 2 days, checked out at 11 AM as informed by front desk. I got my keys from staff at parking lot attendant. Tell me why did I get a call at 10:48 pm the day I checked out, 2:01 AM the following day which a voicemail was left by staff saying I still had my car there. I called back at 3:14 AM (mind you I wake up at 5:30 AM for work). I had to tell them I was back home and my vehicle was with me. I recommend a secret inspection of this particular Motel 6. Training should be given to these employees.

Check in was a breeze, only issue was parking. It doesn't state on the site that it is $12 and when they sell out they send you next door for $25 . Wish they had a refrigerator/microwave. Also the site does not tell you check in is at 2 check out at 11, not a big deal I just like to know. Also nice to know it is a pet friendly hotel. I will definately stay here again for my next concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I would have given 5 stars except for the parking situation.

Stayed here for the weekend! Good location! Just a minute walk to Hollywood blvd where you can bar hop and sight see etc. Rooms were clean! AC was cold! If your looking for a cheap place to stay and that's accessible right in the heart of Hollywood I would say, this would be the place!

If it wasn't for two small things, I would give this location a 5-star rating.
    1. The pot smoke odor in the 2nd floor hallway was overpowering and I am allergic to it. So I basically ran to & from my room each time I left. It's supposed to be a Non-smoking facility, but I guess that only goes for cigarettes.
    2. My bedspread had holes in it and I'm not at all sure it was really clean.
Everything else was great. The desk clerks were all very friendly and as helpful as they could be. Location is great. I'd recommend this Motel 6 & I would stay here again.

Perfect location where you can reserve parking once you have booked, in a secure underground park. Lifts were good as the building is 5 storeys. Just around the corner from all the Hollywood tourist routes and Walk of the Stars. Short 2 mile drive to Universal Studios and nearby Griffith Park. Room was spacious with plenty of power points for all those chargers. Very clean with a beautiful swan towel display on arrival. Much appreciated.
