It's location is ideal because it's between The Hollywood Bowl & Hollywood/Highland metro station. It is a bit of an uphill walk from the station though. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were easy to find. While there is a laundry room, it was being remodeled during my stay. Will consider returning.

A great stay. Manager took the time to come and greet me. Room was a good size and was clean. Air conditioning kept the room cool during the day but was a little noisy. Nice to have a pool. The location is a little sketchy; Nice to be walking distance to the walk of fame, but not great to walk in the dark.

Was a nice stay. Restaurant could use a better menu. I dined around 530pm, it does Get very busy when there is an event at the Hollywood Bowl. I would recommend an additional employee to help. Parking is too expensive. Overall an awesome place to stay when ure going to a concert like I did.

The front desk staff were very affable and helpful. Good valet parking experience as well for a tired out Traveler. Location very close to Hollywood Boulevard if that's your thing so good. Breakfast Front Room a little humid but helpful staff fast chef and good fresh selection. For an urban Hotel with typically cramped footprint the rooms were well-appointed and felt spacious. Only regret? The stupid Robert Pattinson wax figure in the lobby. Just kidding!

The hotel overall once you get passed the front desk and the modern entryway seems a little tight and outdated. The bathroom has very little light or water pressure. The bed does feel great though and the pillows are always my favorite thing with Hilton. The breakfast was great with HUGE omelettes (be prepared for it to be like a 4-5 egg omelette). The last thing to note is the only parking option is valet and is $40 fricken dollars!!! That's absurd. Be aware.

$40 parking per night is obscene. Valet parking for a car park you actually park in to then talk to the valet is laughable. Holiday inn next door is $28 per night for parking (still too much). This may be a Hilton but it is dated and basic and does not meet certain basic requirements. Rooms are tiny. Fridge turned itself off during the night every night with much dripping noise and restarted on a morning. Bathroom main light did not work. Shower was low pressure. Bedroom decor was dull. No luggage racks. However, location excellent for access to Hollywood/Sunset Boulevard.

Nice hotel to stay while in Hollywood. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet. Small fitness room. Nice pool area. About a 7 minute walk to the Hollywood bowl or to Hollywood and Highland walk of Fame area. Valet parking only, $40 per night. Would stay here again.

Excellent service, staff has been taking good care of us for a weekend trip. Interior is slightly dated, but not in a bad way. The property appears to be well maintained, and is within walking distance to the major Hollywood attractions. Two queens appear to be normal, so good for couples traveling together who don't mind sharing a space.

Small rooms. Thin walls. But clean and great staff overall. Great location to Hollywood points of interest like Hollywood Bowl, Chinese Theater, etc.

The staff is pleasant and the rooms are sizeable. Complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch. Location is great but a decent amount of traffic nearby as people try to get on the 101. Overall really nice experience overall.

The Good: Good room that is quiet and very dark. There are a couple nitpick items--large crack in wall, a bathroom door that won't stay open, and the utter lack of an outlet near the bed, which I debated putting in the bad category. But overall, the room makes up for the little nitpick items. The room is clean, and everything works like it should, so can't complain to much. The Bad: Perhaps this isn't fair to make party of the review, but considering that the restaurant is standard for Hilton Gardens, I'm calling this pay off the hotel. The food here is not fresh, except for maybe the breakfast. The dinners for sure are pre-prepared and probably frozen. The speed at which meals come out, definitely point to this as fact. I've started at a lot of Hilton Gardens and never experienced did this poorly prepared. And to add insult to injury, they charge you "restaurant prices" for this stuff. The Ugly: How does $40 forced valet parking sound to you? Yes, you read that correctly. If you must drive for work, expect to pay for that every day. Keep this in mind when planning based on price.

The ladies at the reception were sweet and anxious to please. The room was up to Hilton standards. Even though I checked out at 12:00 - I could leave my car parked their the entire day, if I wanted. The only down side was the night shift in the cafe. The waiter seemed less than happy (not at us, just a general demeanor) and the iced tea definitely tasted like it came from instant. Yuck. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, 17 - 19 August 2013. Check-in was fast and pleasant staff. No help with baggage.
Musty smell on 3rd floor. Our room was clean but air conditioning unit in room was blowing fast and it couldn't be turned down or off, so was like that entire time (probably to cover up musty smell.
Coffee machine in room, but only 2 very small milks, and last day there was none.
Quiet room (323) and we slept well.
