Great place to stay for the weekend nice pool and fitness room. Great view from the window and the front area for the airplanes to come in. My kids had a great time

Okay if you're only passing through. No fridges or etc, just a good place to sleep. Staff was friendly and there were good breakfast options.

Pretty dated decor. But the big hassle for business travel is no mobile checkout, and I had to call accounting, wait on hold, etc. after getting home to get a copy of the bill I was told would be emailed within 5 minutes of checkout when I went to the desk in person to ask for it. Just a hassle for what should be and is at other HI properties a smooth convenient experience with no lines or holding!

We had a great 4 night stay. Including free breakfast each day. Pool was cold the first two days but improved in temp. Would highly recommend the hotel.

I was traveling through Chicago when my connection home was canceled. I called a number provided by the airline to find a hotel and I was set up with the Holiday Inn Express. To be honest i was worried about what to expect when I was quoted a price but I figured I just needed somewhere to close my eyes for a minute. Wow was I surprised. The room was immaculate and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was quiet. I saw they had a workout room and I saw kids that looked like they just came from a pool. The shuttle was timely and quick. The gentleman working the front desk was fantastic. I was blown away with my experience. Especially considering I barely paid more for the room than I've paid to park my car overnight at other places. I will not hesitate to stay here again and if I'm stuck in Chicago for airline troubles, I'll go out of my way to stay at this property.

If I was on a quick work trip it would be fine. But not a family weekend. Pool really bad super cold, something all over bottom of it and towel rough and very small. No on-site restaurant. Bathrooms so small can barely open door. Chipped paint in shower. Garbage truck outside windows at 630 everyday. No amenities
