I like that there are lots of fireplaces to sit in front of. A very relaxed environment with cool surroundings to look at. The food was good. Whenever I am in the area I like to come here for drinks and or lunch or dinner. Servers are very kind and helpful. We didn't wait long for anything. I would definitely recommend it to others coming to the area
that are looking for a chill place to eat. It wasn't crowded when we visited this time but it can get pretty busy. I think finding parking in the area was the most difficult for us. We had to drive around several times to find a open spot. That was the only downer.

Celebrated my husband's 60th Birthday here. I asked for a special spot and they sat us outside right by the fire. It was more then perfect. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Looking forward to going back.

Love the atmosphere! So charming! And most of the food was good. Unfortunately, my main entree, chicken fettuccini, was made with chicken that was clearly frozen, proceed strips. That was disappointing

We stopped in for drinks only but it's a real treat, quaint, intimate and individual. Our waiter was brilliant, helpful and had us roaring with laughter more than once. The food passing us by looked good and the prices seemed reasonable.

Very average food (overpriced New York steak), dirty environment, average wait staff. Seems like they are living off of the Clint Eastwood name. Wine was good though.

Had such a good time there with many friends after the vintage auto races at Laguna Seca that I can't remember everything I ate but do remember the great bread that was cooked in a flower pot!

You would expect Clint Eastwoods restaurant to be way over priced. That's not what I found when I arrived. Their happy hour beer price I found to be a bargain for this area. ( Why is beer so expensive in this area?) I got a steak and still found my check to be a reasonable amount. The restrooms were very clean too. The wait staff was very professional and friendly. They didn't mind me walking through the rest of the area and taking pictures like the tourist I am. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Mr. Eastwood would have been there himself.

Pretty sure all the five star ratings are from people going drinking. I didn't try the pub, the restaurant was Not terrible, service was decent. When I saw the small selection I assumed that the food would be good because if u only make six things how could you not be good at it? I was wrong. The chicken alfredo was dry the steak was not well seasoned. Overall we were disappointed. The setting and ambience was wonderful, so much potential wasted. Didn't try the pub but if I were you I'd go down the street to the Forge! That place has a similar ambience with far better everything, and it's actually worth the money you spend. I would have given two stars to this place but I don't want it to keep it's deceiving 4.5 star rating.

Really warm recessed patio with open fireplaces to take the Monterey chill off - great happy hour specials. Hogs Cosmo hit the spot with a Dirty Martini chaser. Outstanding artichoke dip, calamari and egg roll appetizers. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Great place to relax after shopping on Ocean Ave. Diverse dinner menu should please any appetite. Very pleased with our choice.

We had an awesome lunch here. Came just shortly after they opened and got seated right away. Decided to try the Dirty Harry Burger and it was delish! You could tell the meat patty was made fresh. The burger was served on a buttered ciabatta bun with your choice of cheese. So good! If you're looking for a nice local spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I highly recommend this place.

We never get tired of this place. Always enjoy going there whenever we are in town. Excellent food and a really cool place. Can't go wrong. Middle of the day or evening dining. Always good.

I enjoy Hog's Breath because it isn't stuffy and it has a little bit of everything for a well-rounded pub/bar experience in Carmel, CA. Dog-friendly outdoor patio seating, above average food, cool casual atmosphere, and attentive (albeit inconsistent) service. The artichoke dip is sinfully good and the liquor selection is pretty good. I've had mixed experiences with the staff's knowledge of menu items (ask extra questions if you have food allergies/gluten issues), but otherwise, a really pleasant, bluesy, boozy destination for lunch or dinner.
