  I love this little place! It plays good music, that isn't too loud, and you get what you pay for! Their food is great, and great portion size. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly. Parking is free, there is a lot across the street and in front of the place. Across the street has some amazing views.

  I visited recently and had a wonderful time. It was warm and friendly. The food was good. Such a lovely surprise while on the drive down Hwy 1. I'll look forward to going back to Whale City next time I drive through.

  A great lunch spot while driving Highway 1. They have a sun soaked patio that is really nice (even though it's next to the highway). Some of the seafood is a bit tasteless though.

  Food was fresh and service was prompt. I would definately dine there again. My only (minor) complaint is that there is only 1 restroom and it was constantly in use.

  I liked it much better when it was an old bar with the peanut shells on the floor. Old Blues Music & awesome food. It's ok now long wait for the food itvwas

  Sitting here waiting on my food. My wife got hers a while ago. She's almost done and I'm still waiting. And she's eating slowly. Wish we'd gone next door to the whale.
  Update: food was really good, almost worth the wait. Upgrading to three stars.
