Excellent accommodations in the heart of St. Augustine. Lots of rooms with balconies overlooking Matanzas Bay. Restaurant, bar, Starbucks, valet parking, room service. What more could you ask for? Walk to St. George Street for shops, restaurants and historic sites. Our 3rd stay here and we love it. The service is awesome.

They gave the room we reserved to somebody else.
The Hilton Honors app allows the user to reserve a specific room 24 hours before you arrive. My wife and I decided to scour TripAdvisor and find out which room we would like.
We decided on a certain room because it had a larger balcony and the balcony railings were solid concrete half walls instead of the picket fence you see in my photos. We have an almost 2 year old so the larger balcony seemed better and safer for it.
When we arrive at the hotel, the front desk woman put us into a different room. We asked why and she said all the rooms are the same, don’t worry about it. We said okay but when we got to our room and saw the balcony we went back to the front desk. Again, she said all the balconies are the same. They are certainly not.
We met the couple that was staying in the room we had originally reserved and they said they got into that room after complaining about the room we ended having. Pretty frustrating.
The rooms are a little small but the location is fantastic. The staff at the bar is awesome, too.response / report this review -

Such a lovely quaint place. Staff is super friendly. We got upgraded for free. Love that it's in the perfect area to walk everywhere downtown.

Friendly professional staff. Room was not clean and was in serious need of renovation. When you pay $399.00 for a night and you are thinking Hilton and the room compares to a $29.00 motel room it leaves a bad taste. St Augustine is beautiful and we love it there. I can't see us staying at another Hilton after this trip.

Best Hilton I've yet to visit. We loved the view of the small City from our awesome balcony. Very old building but beautiful rooms. Parking is valet only. Beautiful hotel and a different feel than others Hiltons. Very romantic.

I would have given a better rating but despite confirming my reservations for bayfront rooms with balconies 3 times, we got tiny windows that you can see the bay from but no balcony. hugely disappointed because it was why we chose location. staff was very nice and friendly. breakfast in restaurant was fabulous.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, good food, Fantastic location and very clean! We had the most romantic time! Definitely would stay again! Seeing all the hotels in the area this is the best stay for your money!

The staff is friendly and makes every effort to accommodate anything needed, they have terrific suggestions for local places instead of the usual tourist type places, and are extremely professional. The hotel is in a perfect location, the restaurant/room service is outstanding, and the room we have, King with a balcony, has a fabulous view of the bay and waterfront. Highly recommended!

Best hotel to stay at in Saint Augustine. Right in the middle of everything, and we got a great deal for staying during the Memorial Day weekend. Spent five days at this hotel, and the room was amazing. Working fridge, and the toiletries provided were top notch. We had a balcony room overlooking the bay front so my mom and I got to watch the boats and carriage rides in the evening. Old Town surrounds this hotel on either side and there's so much to do. The room service meals are delicious, especially the pancakes in the morning and burgers at lunch. The valet guys were exceptionally nice and always gave us bottles of water before we left and gave tips on where to go or which roads to take. Front desk was equally as exceptional. All around a great place with great staff.
