Great location - a few restaurants and gas stations down the block. Continental breakfast was not bad, but then I'm not a picky eater. Heater worked phenomenal for the rare chilly Florida weather. As for the cons: my bed would squeak whenever I moved around, my body didn't like the bed and had a hard time sleeping (the other bed seemed comfy), the microwave was lopsided (but I think it works 😀), that stupid 1/2 inch gap on the door, and my bed sheet was inside out (annoying but nothing major. I just happened to notice it).

This is the third La Quinta I stayed at on my journey east. It was the best one. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Fresh food for breakfast and once again, no dead bodies. It was the best of times. The bed was comfortable and the air was crisp.

Typical LaQuinta, which we like. Clean room with no carpets (carpets in hotel rooms always make me wonder how clean they could possibly be). Nothing fancy for breakfast but make your own waffle and food that didn't come out of plastic packaging. Good location close to two outlet malls and not far from St. Augustine.

We were in Evacuation Zone A and heading up to safety. A thoughtful friend in a different state helped us out by booking us a hotel in a location she thought we would reach that took dogs. She made our reservation here. It took us twice as long to get to St Augustine from Miami (almost 10 hours), but the hotel was contacted around 10 pm to let them know we were going to be very late. We arrived utterly exhausted around 2:30 AM. They did not give away our room even though I am sure they could have many times over. We were greeted very kindly and the hotel clerk did so much to ease our burden. It was a true haven in a storm. She even had a treat for the dog. The room was perfect for a canine and clean, well lit, and comfortable. There was no room for us on the way back, unfortunately, so we stayed in another place close by for the same price. No comparison. I will not soon forget this welcome.

The hotel stay was pleasant and quiet. They accept dogs as well. Our room was cleaned daily and complimentary free breakfast. Close to highways, shopping and food. We really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend staying here.

Nice price, booked 2 weeks in advance. Nice breakfast bar on weekend: waffles, pancakes, sausage, bagels, juice & cereal. Weekday, no meats at breakfast. Also, pet-friendly hotel, but suppose to keep pet guests on certain floors. Stayed on 2nd floor, no pet noise, but met a guest that had to get moved 3 times due to noise. Lobby nice & food area updated too. Close to interstate and about 10 min from historic St. Augustine. Bed hurt our backs,not sure if mattresses old, or just too soft. Nice overall stay!

Checked in for one night- from the front desk to the room everything was easy and pleasant. The front desk clerks were friendly and knowledgeable and our room was spotless! I had one of the best nights' sleep that I've had in a while! Breakfast was the usual fare and was hot and plentiful. Our dog travels with us and he was welcomed with a treat and treated as a special guest! Always a good stay at La Quinta! Highly recommend!

Being a pwt owner, I didn't have to worry about somewhere my pet and I could stay during our trip. The cool laminate flooring was my dog's best friend after our long trip. The bed was soft, the shower worked, and the staff was super friendly.

The place is nice, and clean. Staff is very friendly. The pool is nice and well looked after. The beds are the best part; most comfortable mattress I've ever experienced.

Ive used La Quinta several times and never had an issue except the one in St. Augustine, Fl. Went here about a month ago, my friends and I were looking forward to enjoying the night and a great weekend. The room was hot, AC didn't seem to be functioning properly, missing a remote, the bed was dirty, there was an underwear on the stairway. Couldn't even say a word or have a conversation at night inside the room and I had a baby inside.
People next door would complain to front desk and threatened to call police on us because of the baby making talking. Really??? Going to call police on us because of a baby? I never complained about their loud dog barking throughout the night. Front desk was unfriendly and didn't even help us out during this time. Told us to go to sleep, as if we're kids but we're adults. This was the worst hotel experience I've had and I will NEVER go back to any La Quinta location again. And to pay almost $180, it was a total waste of money.response / report this review -

This place was gorgeous and a great midway stop point on our way home. The high ceiling on the first floor were gorgeous. The only thing that could have been done a little better would have been a warning that they were replacing the hot water heaters.
