Bay front Marin House was super clean. Service was excellent and loved the happy hour and breakfast. The strawberry rhubarb pie was amazing! I would suggest the B&B to all my friends. My husband has a difficult time walking and uses a cane, we found it very easy to get around the grounds. It was also very convenient to everything in town. Thank you we will be back next year.

We loved staying at the Bayfront Marin House. It was so beautiful and romantic! We booked the Marie Antoinette Room. It had a private porch with a swing and beautiful view of the bay. The jacuzzi was a treat! The bed was so comfortable I did not want to leave. The decor was so quaint and comforting. We absolutely loved the breakfast they included with our stay as well as the nightly happy hour drinks and treats. Parking was included just a couple blocks away from the location. But with everything in walking distance you may not even need your car! I will definitely be back!

We booked the entire B&B a year in advance and it was well worth it. The home, grounds, and especially the staff, made the weekend so enjoyable for us and our guests. The staff worked with us to have some rooms ready early for our out-of-town guests which was greatly appreciated, as they needed to get ready for the wedding rehearsal on Friday afternoon. Mary’s breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings were splendid. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We received many complements about the venue we picked, however the praise goes to the staff who made it a joy to stay at the Bayfront Marin House.

We stayed at the 402 Saltwater cottage by the beach. We loved having the option of having a breakfast basket delivered to our door instead of heading downtown first thing in the morning to have breakfast at the Inn. The bed was not the most comfortable part of our stay but otherwise we have no complaints. If it were a few degrees warmer outside, we definitely would have taken advantage of the private heated pool. It was great to have access to a downtown parking space even though we stayed by the beach. Complimentary happy hour was appreciated but there would have been even better with some vegetarian options.

The rooms are very pleasant and clean. The breakfast is always good and there is a nice selection to choose from. The snacks and desserts for happy hour are quite tasty, as well as the sangria.
Staff is very pleasant and willing to please. Mary is such a sweet person and it feels as if she truly cares about the customers being satisfied. We will be back!response / report this review -

Staying at this house submerges you into the history of the area. Built in the 1700s, the Marin House is located just a short, pleasant walk to St. George St., the Castillo, and all the local hot spots. Just a short walk over the Bridge of Lions, I had the best burger of my life at a place called Gas that was recommended by one of the staff here. The staff is A1. Pleasant, courteous, helpful, friendly, accommodating. Being an early riser, I wake up looking for coffee. My new friend Mary who chops the fresh, delicious breakfast fruit and puts together some tasty breakfasts would always have a pot and a smile waiting for me. Breakfasts included eggs Benedict, quiche Lorraine, to die for French toast during our stay. Needless to say I will have to start weight watchers again. You can’t beat the stay at the Marin House and I can’t say enough good things about it.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The staff was so nice, the city is beautiful. We had had massages in our rooms, sail boat tour and everything. It was an amazing place and we definitely plan on returning. I've already passed word on to friends of ours for their honeymoon as well!

Thank you for a great, brief getaway. The staff was wonderful and the cottage was extremely clean! The kitchen was satisfactory for what we needed - we ate out a lot while we were there. The mattresses were okay - not great. We would have enjoyed our stay more if it wasn't for the construction going on next door. Thankfully we arrived on a Friday night so they didn't work during the weekend and we don't sleep in that late during the week. The construction crew arrives early and they talk with the owner right outside the bedroom window until 8:00. The breakfast could have been nicer - the banana bread and fruit was appreciated when it was delivered. The view from the back porch was our favorite spot. We were in the shade, can see the ocean and feel the breeze. Overall we had a very nice time and your staff deserves a raise! They were wonderful.

Beautiful B and B. Room was decorated in Victorian style with up to the minute amenities. Had a jacuzzi and fireplace. Fantastic view of the water and a private porch area with comfy glider. Breakfast served in the courtyard facing the water. Food was great. Daily happy hour was perfect. Staff was very friendly. Loved St Augustine and Bayfront Marin House was the best!! Highly recommend it

I absolutely loved this hotel!! The environment had a very home feel to it right down to the food! Definitely the best I've had! Even the staff was amazing and very helpful during our stay! Very inviting and right along the ocean at both the hotel and the cottages! Beautiful to walk!! We stayed at the sandpiper suite cottage and it was so nice just being able to wake up and walk but a few feet to the beach which wasn't at all busy and then being able to go to the hotel eat an amazing breakfast and as soon as you walk outside be in walking distance to shopping and attractions! Even things out of downtown only take but a few minutes to get to! I would recommend to stay here for sure! Very beautiful place! :)

We stayed at the Lagoon Beach Cottage. It was wonderful, the private pool, close to the beach, our wonderful cleaning lady. We had a small issue with the master bathroom, as soon as I reported it, it was fixed. I wish it didn't rain as much, but that's no fault of Bayfront Marin. I will absolutely go back, to the beach cottages, or the main B&B. We enjoyed the Happy Hour very much and looked forward to seeing, what delicious goodies were in store for the evening. I would and will recommend Bayfront Marin House to all my friends. It is the perfect accompaniment to St. Augustine.

We went down for a wedding and wanted to stay near the ocean. These houses had an ocean view and were reasonably priced. The houses were well kept and clean. The also had bikes and other beach amenities available for use. We will be staying here again and would recommend it for others.

We recently stayed at the Bayfront Marin House for a quick weekend getaway! The amenities, view, location, atmosphere, and staff were amazing! A special thank you to Brian who was able to get us settled in our room early due to the room being empty the night before. We arrived around 9:30 am and it was very nice to be able to get settled in room before a day of sightseeing! Mary was wonderful not only her recipes & cooking but loved talking with her. Also owner Sandy was present on more than one occasssion and always checking to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast and the daily Happy Hours were an added bonus and very much enjoyed. We stayed in the Marie Antoinette suite and loved it! The private porch with swing was great for watching sunrise with a cup of coffee in the am and for relaxing in the afternoon after a day of activities - we were able to watch boats and horse carriages go by and both afternoons there was a nice breeze . Thank you all for a great relaxing weekend!

This is the 3rd year my boyfriend and I have stayed at the Bayfront Marin house for our anniversary. We love it. Always have such a low key and relaxing weekend in St. Augustine. This is one of our favorite spots to get away and Bayfront Marin house makes the stay even better. Rooms are cozy and very nicely done. Upkeep is always great. Stayed at the downtown location our first year, but stay at the beach cottages now. Still very easy to get to town and explore. Employees are always super friendly and attentive. Food is very good. Good use a few additional options for breakfast but overall it's great! My favorite that Mary does it eggs benedict!!! Yummy :) Love coming here and making this a yearly tradition. Hope it will be many years that we continue and maybe even spending our wedding anniversaries there one day!

My wife and I stayed three nights for our anniversary. The Bayfront Marin House is absolutely wonderful! The room was beautiful, it's in walking distance of the old downtown and many historical sites, restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed the happy hour every evening before walking to dinner in town. We will absolutely be staying here again in the years to come. Claudia and the rest of the staff really make you feel welcomed!
