Another positive experience at a Residence Inn, this property found just south of I-435 along the Metcalf business corridor, offers a nice alternative to the pricier locations elsewhere while still offering nice food and shopping choices nearby. Our late May visit found all hotel amenities we expected; ample free parking, quiet clean room, (2 bedroom suite) comfortable beds, and well thought out breakfast choices.

The room was very spacious, clean, and contemporary with a pullout sofa couch and mini kitchen. Complimentary popcorn and tea bags. Paul Mitchel shampoo and conditioner. We were very impressed. Marriott will also deliver groceries for you. The front desk was very kind and professional and the free breakfast exceeded our expectations with five cereal options, bagels, toast, sausage, eggs, greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and plenty of space for seating. A swimming pool and other ammenities are included. The location is conveniently right next to a QT a few miles away from the mall and restaurants. If you are looking for a hotel not directly in KC but a place more quiet I would recommend this property.

The staff is really nice. The rooms have plenty of space. You can't complain about a full sized refrigerator and microwave. The kitchenette adds quality to the room. I would come back here whenever I'm in town.

I'm giving 2 stars- 1 for the room being nice and 1 for the breakfast which was good! Breakfast burrito bar was awesome, thank you to the people who keep these rooms clean and make the breakfast. We appreciated you! The lack of the last 3 stars goes to the woman who helped check our group in on Friday evening September 15. We had a large group from way out of town who had already prepaid for a suite and an extra room- upon arrival they said that there was just one room for us. My friend (the one being celebrated on this girls trip and who had the confirmation emails in hand) was frustrated because they made it seem like there wasn't anything to do. Finally they went and got a woman (manager perhaps?) that snatched the emails out of her hand and told her that "your attitude is absolutely ugly and will get you nowhere with me." I was completely shocked. A) My friend was not out of line and never raised her voice B) they're the ones who made the mistake! C) how dare you speak that way to your customer who had $500 worth of receipts in hand. Seriously appalled.

This hotel and staff uphold the excellence that comes with the Marriott experience. The premises are beautiful and emaculently kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will gladly return. Highly recommend. Also, the breakfast is really good!

Rooms are well equipped, like efficiency apartments. Amenities are nice for business or family guests basketball, mini golf, pool, gym, mini convenience store, common areas for business or socializing, hot buffet breakfast and weekday dinner/happy hour. Staff is friendly and accommodating. This facility meets the world class standard Marriott travels have come to love. Highly recommend

Every time we stay here it's like home away from home. Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are kept in tip top condition and the beds are comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is very convenient and tasty!

Overall nice but a few issues as well. Large amount of loud kids up and down the hallways this weekend (in for a sports tournament I think). Also I think my room (309) is situated above or below a small aircraft maintenance facility that services small jet engines judging by the loud whirling and spinning sounds I am currently and constantly hearing. Hallways are a little dark and the carpet smells damp and musty. Breakfast was descent, good for a hotel free breakfast really, but no biscuits and gravy which sucks as that is what I was looking forward too. Parking was good and I enjoyed the double room with a shared living room which made my stay and my guests stay much easier.
