Bed bugs I was bit up and they don't won't to acknowledge it. Greedy Hilton brand they are. SLEEP IN THIS HOTEL AS A WARM BLOODED MAMMAL IF YOU WANT TO!!! I woke up after 11 p.m. to bites and one of the culprits. Front desk brought me a key to another room. I am a Hilton honors member so reported it on the app and the hotel later said it was unfounded. I looked at other Google reviews and found other guests whom encountered bed bugs as well. You're liars. You haven't checked!!! I caught one of the bed bugs in a plastic bag and left it for you. Stop lying!
Room was beautiful - very clean. The mattresses were a little worn and uneven so my husband kept rolling into me. The pillows were too thick - which is a weird problem because usually it's the opposite in hotels. They were quite uncomfortable. The front desk and breakfast staff were awesome - very friendly, fun and helpful. Lobby was gorgeous.
The lobby is very well lit and welcoming. The check in process was fast and seemless. The bed was a touch on the firm side for my preference. I typically prefer a very plush bed so the firmness may be ordinary. The available breakfast had the usual hotel staples plus some additional breakfast meats. I had to get going quickly so I did not have a chance to have the breakfast but it looked and smelled delicious.
We stay here every time we are in the area. Clean and friendly hotel at an affordable price. I love the Hilton Honors program. Easy way to earn free nights and bonuses.
Going to start with the good and say the maids and service workers were very friendly and helpful. The room was also clean. Unfortunately outside of that lots of things added up to the worst Hilton Garden Inn experience we've ever had. So many little things added up that in the end it just wasn't a good experience. There seems to be a lot of poor communication between the different departments of the hotel and a little scary amount of incompetence at the front desk. We were accidentally checked out twice during the 5 day stay and the second time had to rush back from downtown KC to correct things and make sure we didn't lose our room. They had also mixed up payments and tried to charge us a much higher rate after the first correction to the accidental check out. This is on top of trying to get little things we ended up having to take care of ourselves by stopping service workers in the hall. I'm skipping a lot of details but I don't feel it's necessary for the overall point. Not the worst hotel by any means but when you're paying that little bit extra for a nice chain like Hilton Garden Inn you expect a little more and we got a lot less. Way too much poor communication and incompetence.
The desk clerk, Waitress, maids and security office were outstanding, 5 star. The room was terrible. To small for a room with 2 double beds. Plus, the bathroom door opened into the room instead of into yhe bathroom. Very poor design. The AC didn't work. The temp in the room was 86 degrees at midnight. Very disappointing.
Customer service was good. Fitness area good. But the one star comes from the lack of cleanliness. First time I’ve ever changed rooms at a hotel because the room was dirty. The second room we thought was better but woke up to find BED BUGS. So disgusting and disappointing since I’m a Hilton Honors member.
I was there last week for a conference. My room was nice and beds very comfirtable. I was pleased by the housekeeping. Breakfast was good, but charging full price for children that eat one bowl of cereal is asinine. The front desk was STELLAR! As an honors member, I was able to check-in online and all that I had to do, was get my key. The welcome bag was a nice touch. Parking was great. Business center was down for one day. Enjoyed the complimentary wifi because I had class work to submit while I attended the convention. The only reason I didn't give this review the whole 5 stars was because of the sewage smell on the first floor. Please fix that. I would stay here again.
Disgusting. The entire hotel has a strong odor of sewage. The front desk staff is ghetto. The exercise room is seriously about 85 degrees. We stayed two nights and our room received absolutely no service. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but is more like the Motel 6 as far as overall experience is concerned.
Was at this hotel as a presenter for a company training seminar. I've always found this location to be excellent. Cleanliness is above par, service is always good, and the food is excellent.
It was a nice comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The property had a nice modern feel, light and open. The staff were warm and welcoming. The next morning, we find out that somebody had broken into a whole bunch of cars in the parking lot. So bring your valuables inside.
Friendly staff and nice accommodations. The breakfast was excellent. Nice safe area.
Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms a little dated but otherwise an enjoyable stay
3 stars. We attended the ISD Teachers Banquet. Wonderful, nice, clean room with attentive and friendly staff. Easy to get in and out, located very accessible off I-70. A couple of glitches: The parking lot needs to be redone with larger spaces, it's tight for SUV or vans and the extra lot is quite a walk. Trying tooad kids and strollers with vehicles zooming around those tight corners with no parking lot lights on and all those bushes was a bit scary. Also, when we were leaving around 7pm, they were painting or replacing a lightbulb or something right in front of the doors! We were schlepping kids & our belongings while they worked, so aggravating! Those workers could have waited 15 minutes after our program ended to let us get out before they started that project. So 3 stars, a few tweaks but overall not too bad.
