Wonderful hotel. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Pool is the perfect temperature and very fun. Close walk to the Plaza. Convenient, secure parking! We will definitely be back

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn Country Club in Kansas City 5 times in the past 18 months. Every time the quality has slipped some since the last. The last stay was one of the worst I have had at any Hampton Inn. One of the reasons you stay at a Hampton Inn is for the free breakfast. You don't expect great but you do expect hot and at least ok. This was neither hot or ok. Eggs were empty and needed to track down someone to fill them. The sausage and potatoes were cold. The only choice of yogurt was plain. Besides the horrible breakfast the rooms are long past needing remodeling. This was the last time I will stay at this location.

My room was quite large with a sitting area + a bedroom. The bathroom was small but was not a problem for me. The decorations, furniture and overall style of the hotel is a little dated, but none of the furniture showed any wear. The free breakfast was very good, with many different options including scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal choices, make your own waffles and more.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
When I'm back in KC, I will certainly stay here again.

Overall a good stay, but when we first arrived the man checking us in told us there would be an additional 20% charge. My friend specifically asked if this was a hold for damages twice, to which we were told that it was "a tax" on top of the tax included in our receipt (we booked through Hilton Honors). We asked two ladies at the front desk the next day and they were very clear that it was a hold for damages. Otherwise, good stay, although the walls were a little thin--one night we could hear two women in the room next to us talking in that intoxicated, slightly louder than normal but not shouting tone. The beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. There were lots of towels in the bathroom.

Staff is super nice and helpful. If you need anything, they are willing to go above and beyond to help! The room was nice and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Parking is very accessible. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the balcony off the pool! We will be staying there again for sure!

The hotel room was lovely and so was the service. The real winner for this hotel is the location. Several stores and restaurants are right within walking distance and the Nelson-Atkins museum of art is barely 10 minutes away. The hotel even provided a handy map for the surrounding area.

A nice property in a great location where the staff is outstanding! The service and friendliness towards everyone makes for an excellent experience. Rooms are modern and clean. Some have mini kitchenettes and a suite with two rooms. The hotel has a free hot breakfast in an upscale setting that is spacious. There are also meeting rooms for a variety of functions. The hotel is a block away from the main Country Club Plaza area, so it is close enough to walk, but far enough you don't get the noise. The hotel has an indoor pool and fitness room, plus a parking garage underneath.

Like most Hampton Inns, this hotel offers large rooms, comfortable beds, free coffee and a fantastic breakfast bar. We stayed over a busy weekend, so the free breakfast was a bit haphazard, but that's hard to predict I'm sure. Oh, and make sure you get there before 10. At 10am sharp, they start clearing the food. Back to the roomeverything was clean, well appointed and comfortable. It's a great value for the central location!

Quite satisfactory stay. Nothing over the top, but nothing underwhelming either. Convenient enough location.

The cleaning staff were exceptionally helpful, the meetings rooms were pleasant, and the fresh fruit was delicious. I was disappointed by the lack of toilet paper in the men's room; the paper towels were an unpleasant substitute. The coffee/tea bar was well stocked.

The hotel staff was extremery nice. We had a big group and they cooperated with all of our needs. The breakfast was delicious. Best omelet I've ever had. The room was comfortable and the perfect temperature. Everything was clean. They even had a sign in the bathroom saying that if we forgot something like our toothbrush they would give us one for free.

I attended for a small conference. The location was easy to find. They had plenty of underground parking. The staff was friendly even when bombarded by attendees asking for lunch recommendations at the same time. The facilities were clean and updated. It was a short walk to several great restaraunts. We had about 150 attendees and the facilities felt a bit crowded at times, but not uncomfortably so.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, Hampton Inn is my hotel choice. Very nice facility in a great location. One suggestion after the second night my room was not cleaned, which never happened before. I was not sure if this is a new hotel policy on a multi night stay. At the reception I was informed that my clean should have been cleaned and somehow was missed. Other hotels offer this as an option with some incentives which I always take advantage of. if Hampton Inn implements this option I would definitely use.
