We went for the polar express event and it was great! Our two year old loves every second of it. Highly recommended !

Rode the Polar Express Train. Sat at “The Polar Express” for an hour just listening to Christmas music waiting on Santa and his elves to make it to our car the last one. No hot chocolate was given out only chocolate milk and a cookie. My kids are 5 and 3 and we’re bored. I guess we expected much more than what we paid for.

This is a very fun and unique way to experience trains from an earlier time in history. We did the Santa visit at night, the North Pole Express. It was a fun way to sit and socialize with a small group while riding on a train to visit Santa. He and Mrs Claus come on to each train car. Each child has time to chat and get pix. Glad we did this unusual Santa visit .

The North Pole Express Train is alot of fun for all ages. Keep in mind that although you might buy 1st class tickets, seating is first come, first serve. So, be sure to arrive at least an hour before your departure time if you want to ensure sitting together with your party. For the best view of Santa and Mrs. Claus as you arrive to the North Pole, sit on the left side of the car (if you're facing East). There are a few things to do while you wait. Such as, tour the completely free train depot and museum, visit the gift shop, climb aboard standing cars and check them out, grab a quick bite to eat from their hotdog tent, or sip on some hot chocolate. Be sure to dress for the weather. You will be waiting outside under an open tent for the train to arrive. There are NO restrooms on the train, so make sure you visit one before you board. They are located in the gift shop bldg. Most children dress in pajamas, and some parents do too. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful, and Santa and Mrs. Claus are stellar!!!

This was such a fun adventure! My friends and I were in the area for a wedding and decided to come here to waste some time. Thomas the train was here when we visited and so there were a lot of kids but the museum was still enjoyable. It was very interesting getting to learn about railroads.

If you're already there or passing through, go see it, but driving 2 hours JUST to see the museum wasn't worth it.
Most of the "museum" is old train cars and engines sitting outside, only one of which was a caboose we could go inside. The tiny actual museum was in a wooden building that looked historic, but smelled moldy. The displays in there were pretty amateur. They should at least find some scrapbookers to make better signs!
Train ride was meh. Old cars were cool. Volunteer conductors were knowledgeable and fun. But it was a ride to nowhere with not much to see along the way.
Staff was very friendly, but with it mostly outside, don't go on a hot day.response / report this review -

Did Thomas day. Tons of fun and affordable! Geared for toddlers but my teens had a blast too. Massive Thomas the train toy tent, was my 2 year olds favorite part.

We enjoyed the ride. What we didn't enjoy was the speakers blaring c&w at us. We didn't ride the train to hear that noise pollution. We wanted to hear the train. Please turn the speakers off. That was most irritating.

Nice museum and train ride. Staff is helpful and courteous. If we could have gone inside some of the trains out front it would have been a 5star review.

My family and I went to their Day Out w/Thomas event and it was so cute! their were lots of activities for the kids and the train ride was great!

This place was pretty cool. I took my 3 year old to see all the trains while we were in town and he loved it. Rhe place was closed but it was still pretty cool to walk around,and see the trains! I just wish we could have taken a ride somewhere. Would recommend.
