WORST HOSPITAL EVER! They have rats and Roaches there that place should be shut down for good plus there not even licensed doctors there not fully done with school yet. Someone call the state board I know I already did on UCLA in Torrance,California they do not licensed have nurses and licensed doctor by the name of Joyce put her fake long a** nails inside of me while I just found out was pregnant with my 1st child in 2016 and said I had an infection when I didn't I transferred to another hospital thank god I didn't spent my full pregnancy at the pit of hell's hospital! I transferred all my records to another hospital.I now have a beautiful healthy babygirl that's now almost a year old in December from my experience I think Torrance memorial is So much better than UCLA is a sh**y hospital UCLA they threatened to call cps on my sister for not having a ride home they make fun of moms there that are new moms please witch flying on her broom stick s**ing every guys d**s if those so called not licensed nurses and doctors and not licensed social workers of there own threatened to call cps for not her having a ride than I threatened to call state board and health and human survives on this sh**y hospital needs go get there heads out of there a**es for once! Someone should have this hell hospital shut down for good! My sister was in stress her blood pressure went up to 200 after she went in labor for not having a ride home! Donna, the RN was very caring and very professional. Wait time was under 5mins then my dad was taken inside to see the doctor. Very clean facility too. Sick people do feel better when treated with dignity and respect. Thank you. My dad feels better already.

One crucial good thing you need to know about this Hospital is that if there are complications during labor they are the absolute experts. But after I gave birth I wasn't being cared for and the hospital took over the role of mother and made all decisions for me for my baby.
When I had to stay over the amount of days I was allowed to stay there, I was given a chair in the nursery to stay overnight with my son who had bilirubin and needed to stay longer than me. I was not allowed to eat anywhere but in the waiting room that had a big sign saying "do not eat in the waiting room!"
Then after my son was born I came into the hospital at least once every one to three months for one and a half years to make sure all of his shots were up-to-date. Now that he's 2 years old I'm finding out that he didn't get a bunch of shots when he was 1 year old. How can this happen? I don't understand the incompetence. When I go to a hospital I expect to be taken care of. I'm scared of this Hospital although they have experts in their back pocket.response / report this review -

I'm writing this review after a horrible experience with the police at this hospital. I was looking for a spot inside Hospital parking lot when couple cars blocked the road and guys started chatting from their car windows. Waited for a minute then I honked. That thug guy jumped out of his car cussing and yelling, daring me to get out of my car so he would beat me up! I locked my car, as I know that the security cameras are taping everything during daytime, and I called the police. In summary, the cop was a racist against my accent and he put me at fault claiming I'm the one who initiated the trouble by honking to that guy! YOU KNOW NOW WHY PEOPLE VOTED FOR TRUMP? I followed the laws by locking my car and didn't respond by any word to the aggressor, but cops didn't care and claimed that cameras are not recording anything!
If you wanna be harassed by cops then go to this hospital, unless if you don't have an accent as I do.
In regards of treatment, they have very good doctors but waiting time is a real nightmare.response / report this review -

Great county hospital for all. Everybody gets medical care w/o ability to pay. Level 1 trauma and all sub specialties are available. Since it's a teaching hospital patients will be seen by many doctors and team of physicians and hence decreasing any chance of errors. I would highly recommend this county facility.

Today I am frustrated I have gotten excellent care here a few times. I've gotten very poor care too, which forced me to get properly treated at other hospitals. Harbor UCLA saved my life 2011, but the bureaucratic hoops that you have to jump through and endure are nearly unbearable. There are Great employees at Harbor UCLA, Yet the unprofessional employees that patients are at times forced to tolerate in order to get good care make people wish they could go anywhere Except Harbor UCLA. I know that the majority of the employees are excellent and doing the best that they can have their jobs, at the same time, if the customers could weigh in on how the remainder are doing their jobs, I'd speculate that at least 10% of that work force would be fired tomorrow. But this is what happens when there are guaranteed government jobs with no job oversite creates a insular attitude where all you have to do is clock in and clock out no matter how good a job you do or how bad a job to do. The public health system (MediCal) is chronically underfunded, but there was apparently enough money to renovate the ER Dept and other sections of the hospital. In the grand scheme of things, being underfunded is not a reason for keeping employees that are just there to punch a time card and be dismissive of patients just because they can. An electric patient satisfaction survey needs to be at every department desk, just like the more effective and efficient hospitals have. I am on my way back to Harbor UCLA for the FOURTH time because the urgent care clinic doctor said she'd make sure I got my prescription this time, but like before, did not put an override on my medication to the insurance company. Having spent 40+ hours at the ER and Urgent Care, I needed the medication yesterday.

I had sergury for my gallbladder and was released the same day. The following day, I went back(emergency room) because of severe pain. I had to wait 14 hours in the waiting room. Recuperating from my gallbladder surgery. 14 hours to see a doctor. It has been my worst visit at this hospital. I am disappointed in the team work this hospital has done today. I hope to get my process over with and never come back. Unsatisfied with the way they run there system.

I am on my husband's google account but I have to share my experience. I started going​ to harborUCLA faithfully when I found out that I was pregnant. It was all good up until I went in to deliver. The doctor​ that delivered my child had been there the 3 previous days since I was admitted. I truly doubt she got a good 8 hrs of sleep all together within those 3 days and because of that she was not patient with my child and ruptured nerves which caused brachial plexus in one of his arms. I am extremely grateful that it is not severe but I do blame her.

Well first i would say Wow! I was born at this Hospital in 1969. And I've been a patient here for many things.
I was treated with the up most kindness by the Doctors and Nurse's here.
Since i been here last 2006 for an ear infection, The Hospital has remodeled and added so many new facilities for Health Servies, and more. (Two thumbs up)
Today i had to visit the Emergency room and my visit was not long and again the Nurses were Awesome!!!
Can't remember there names. But 5 stars to all of them.response / report this review -

This place is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you will get.
My first time here I had snickering, condescending "staff" attending to me who were making fun of my ailments.
I had a surgery here that turned out perfectly!!!! APPLAUSE!!!!

After reading the reviews , I was leery to go to Urgent Care. Possibly some of these reviews are for the emergency room though as the Urgent Care clinics hours are 7:30 am to 9 pm, so it would not be possible to be waiting for care for a full 24 hours as per some of the reviews I read. I felt the wait time was reasonable although I purposly did not go in during peak hours. I did have to wait a bit for the discharge papers, but it wasn't crazy. All of the staff were very friendly and respectful

If I could give negative stars I would. My mother has been there since 9 am 2/15 it's 9:30 am 2/16 and she is still waiting to be seen by a doctor. When she asked the nurse how much longer it is going to take they simply say it's a long wait. The receptionist and nurses are beyond rude they have the worst attitude and you have to tell them what they need to do when they are checking you! Why do you have to tell a nurse to check your sugar because you are diabetic and that's the reason you came in for! They should know they have it written down in their chart. This is honestly the next Martin Luther king hospital. Horrible!
