I buy online from this store and the selection and quality are excellent. Without exception, the shoes and boots I have purchased on their website are my favorites. Shipping is prompt and checkout is easy. I highly recommend this store.

My family knows I'm always looking for the next really comfortable, yet hopefully cute pair of shoes. There are actually stories about my shoe shopping. That admitted, I found a shoe store that I loved, in Chicago. It had brands that I had never tried before. Specific new find~ Fly London! I admit i'm on the short side, yet I have trouble balancing on heels. Problem solved! Platforms! Not really crazy, but a 2 1/2 inch heel made wearable thanks to a 1 inch platform.

I bought one pair while we were in Chicago and then ordered another pair in a color they were out of stock in. Nice bonus, free shipping.

When I came home i wanted to see if I could find this brand nearer to me. Yep, Nordstrom had the brand. However, I saved around $18 a pair buying them at Hanigs and having them shipped. I'm thinking I have a plan for future purchases at Hanigs!

Sales staff was very helpful and knew their shoes!!!

I came in to check out a pair of Samuel Hubbard's, and found exactly what I wanted. What I didn't expect was the personal service, like upscale shoe stores used to offer but is so rare now. Steve was very knowledgeable about the products on offer and provided some great recommendations for my next purchase. I will definitely return, and recommend Hanig's without reservation.

After the pregancy, I've into comfortable shoesYes, I am also surprised that I can be changedI used to love high hills..I still love itbut can't wear them dailyso I have been humble myself and look for comfy shoes.

This place carries all the brand that claims to be comfortable and good for your foot.

Some are not so comfortable..I found. so try them on and you decide.

Sales people here are knowledgeable but not so friendlyI guess their customer age are olderbut who cares. You can try it for yourself if you are looking for a comfortable one.

I came over for a conference and had been told that Vibram shoes would be cheaper in the US than they are in the UK. I expected to pay $100 or so. After greeting me with a warm and friendly welcome I was amazed to find out they had a great model (kso) for only $50. I ended up buying myself two pairs and then went back and bought a pair for my sister. Three pairs of vibrams for basically the price of one pair in the UK.

Plus I should point out that the service was great. I was greeted by a large, friendly fellow who was patient and good humoured.

I've been to 3 different Hanig's footwear stores in Chicago. All of them except for the one located in Hancock were friendly and helpful. One particular salesmen at the Hancock location was very rude and not helpful and had a condescending attitude. I asked him of a particular shoe and described the shoe to him and he snapped back, "I KNOW WHAT IT IS". They didn't have my size but if they did I wouldn't have bought from them due to the rude service.

I went through a lot of trouble to get to this store by 7 on a Friday (during Christmas shopping season). I walked through an ice storm in an air cast all over chestnut looking for it.

They locked their doors 20 minutes early despite me and 2 other customers peering in and trying the doors. I fully intended on making a quick, easy purchase that day. I will not be going back and refuse to go to another Hanig's location because I was so annoyed.
