Went to see Geographer here and it was outstanding. Not only does the venue seem small, personal and inviting but everyone there wanted to have a good time. Some girls standing right behind were a bit too drunk, but past them everyone was mellow, enjoying the music and just fun. Very personal feeling with the artists on display. Only down side was the show was sold out, but that is the price to pay for a small, fun and welcoming venue.

This is my favorite venue in Chicago! It's intimate, they get lesser known but wonderful bands, and half the time you end up chatting it up with the band. Used to be an old Schlitz Brewery as wellcool vibes.

A very intimate venue to watch live music! I watched/experienced Fatai and it was the perfect place as my friend and I were very close to her. The sound was really good as well.

Dollar Tree is reliable and you can count on getting whatever you want here. It's a dollar for anything in the store. So it does everything you want and if you need something in a pinch it works. And sometimes it's just fun to go shopping at Dollar Tree. You can go into Dollar Tree and spend a ton of money on stuff that you probably weren't even thinking about buying. From notebooks to candy to Yardley soap which is a good bar of soap by the way. Two household products to frozen food that you don't know where it came from to pop canned vegetables potato chips USB cables even are sold there. You can find notebooks stickers cheap-looking buckets. You can find about anything you want there. Even aspirin is so there. I found a bottle of aspirin that had 140 aspirin in it for a dollar. And you know what it works.

Came to catch a show and it delivered on what I expected. Intimate and cozy. The stage room is a bit small with a very small bar in the actual stage room but just outside the doors is a full bar. From what I saw it attracts and hires a young trendy crowd. But can't beat seeing a favorite band here and the location is great.

Great venue and and setting with charming staff and good drink selection. Like all small venues, they could probably mic the drum set at a little lower level to help people hear vocals a little more but now I'm nitpicking. Drove an hour to get here and I'd come back.

I wouldn't call Schuba's a hidden jem, but it's one of the best smaller venues in Chicago. It often times has up and coming artists in a fairly small, intimate space. The concert space is in the back of the bar and I believe there's no bad view. Plus, the bar is great too - it's not overpriced like most venue bars are, and there's plenty of selection. Whether you're coming for a drink or for a concert, I think you won't leave disappointed.

I loved this place. The staff is so friendly and the place is unbelievably cozy. At first I was disappointed their kitchen was closed but our server made some recommendations for takeout that we could bring in.

One of my favorite Chicago venues. 165 capacity, you can't really get more intimate than that with your favorite bands. Great beer selection at decent prices. Always pretty easy to find street parking around the venue.
