Friendly service. Price is relatively high for the quality of the breakfast and room amenities. Breakfast was adequate but could have more selection especially fresh made items like bacon and eggs. The room had some amenities that could have been better. Microwave was very small & dial operated. Shower curtain too short. No safe in room. Closet was very small and the doors cheap. We did really like the business meeting room and well appointed breakfast area. Preferred Hilton Garden Inn for the same price but it was sold out.

They had no rooms available for the night I wanted to stay and some how I accidentally reserved a room online for the next day. (And their phone number on their website doesn't work.)They refused to refund and even tried to charge some kind of fee for my not showing up for the reservation. I even went there in person and they refused to budge. They were even rude about it. I stayed at this Hampton last spring, and about eight other times before that, and it was Okay. I remember the plumbing/fixtures were outdated and the water stunk. It left a sulfur smell that lingered in my hair long after I showered. I only wanted to stay there again because it was my go to when I'm visiting my friends in the area or seeing a Jags game. The Hilton in town is a much better choice, now that I've stayed there I will not be going back to this Hampton.

We vacationed here with our dog (he just turned 10 and it was a first). What a great surprise this hotel turned out to be! And no pet fee?! Whaaaaaaaa??!
It was very clean- spotless in fact- quiet (number one selling point for me in a hotel), breakfasts were fantastic (took turns keeping the dog out on the patio area while the other got food and we ate outside), and everything was perfect. So much so, in fact, that we ended up staying an extra day!
Fantastic area and perfectly located because we wanted to visit Amelia Island, downtown and St. Augustine.
Outstanding staff. Would stay here again in a minute! And our dog had a blast - he loved riding the elevators!response / report this review -

It is a nice hotel with friendly staff. They didn't seem to have any hurricane damage. The hotel across the street has blue tarp over most of it roof. This side of Jacksonville got a lot of wind damage.

Room was great! Very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast however was very disappointing. Luckily there are many restaunts in the area to get breakfast at.

Very clean. Love the place. Staff will assist in anyway they can. Very quiet. Everything was great overall from the staff to the breakfast foods.

Do you like falling asleep to the sound of dogs barking all around you? Come stay at this hotel. No kidding All. Around. You. I could hear them barking behind me and below me and several rooms down too. I had to go out and buy a sound machine just to drown out the barks so our baby could sleep! Most of the electrical fixures were out of socket and the walls are so razor sharp, I cut myself just plugging something in (because wall outlet was also out of socket). The upside was that the staff was nice and breakfast was pretty good. It wasn't until later that I discovered that this Hampton inn was the only one in the city that is "pet friendly". There should be a disclaimer somewhere! It's certainly not sleep friendly. Legend has it Those dogs are still barking. 😬

We had a good experience at this hotel. Our room was clean and staff were friendly. The location was exceptional, and very close to a variety of shopping and restaurants. It was perfect for our weekend trip to Jacksonville.

This was a great place to stay. Every one from the front desk to the maid service were absolutely as friendly and helpful as could be. Breakfast was delicious and hectic, but through it all the wait staff was calm, cool and as nice as could be.
